C'mon obsorber, not like this man...
Elder71 is legitmately trying to help and has put a lot of thought and time in his/her words as well as your game.
I would absolutely LOVE if someone put this much detail into a review of one of my games.
Hahaha buddy be careful what you ask for....remember Elder and Nhubi and Edge are out there as well as a lot of other testers. Better keep a box of Depends handy!

Actually this game has been tested by a lot of very knowledgeable people and Ob would do well to seriously consider their advice. After all, they really are trying to help him.
Battle of the Heavens Review
In a way this is like Project Runway. Whenever the models strut their stuff theres always a shot of the designers oohing and ahhhhing at how their model is wearing the worlds next new look. And the other designers are usually very supportive. Once the judges get through with their critiques, often the designers are given a rude awakening, but at the same time a constructive criticism is given. I have rarely seen a designer take this criticism badly, although they often cry etc, but they take it with a grain of salt. Many times they work on the criticism and next time the judges really like what theyve learned. Obsorber....be a good designer and realize you need improvement and it can only be a better game.

Excellent idea and makes a lot of sense. I think Obsorber is a bit thin skinned over his game and in fact most if not all game creators are a bit sensitive, even if a criticism is well intentioned.
Who knows, after he does go over it again and tweek this and twerk that he might make a much better and well received game.
Hang in there Obsorber, I am always amazed that you game creators can make games out magic (at least to me).

Usually I can open the rar files to get a game to play, but I cant with this one. Am I missing something obvious?
Game creators
Is it reasonable that if a game maker doesnt visit his/her site after a certain period of time, say 1 year or so...that the game is removed until and if, they return and respond to players posts?
I am playing a game where the maker hasnt posted on his game since 08/2010 and the game is still up to play. The last post from someone else was sometime in 2012. I was impressed that someone else who had played the game, responded to one of my 3-4 posts to the creator and gave me a bit of help.
Surely unless someone is dead, it is a responsibility to people who think enough of your game to play the damn thing, to at least check on it in case there are questions etc. Either that or remove the down loads.
If THEY wont do it, surely someone who breathes rarified air and calls the shots ought to have a plan to put into motion when this happens.
And I hope no one says its the sole responsibility of the maker to tend their own garden....thats just ...oh what do they call it in high society...oh yes....bull shit. You need to have some rules in place.

Most of you hee-haws here know how to go into the games and fiddly-diddly change this or that and continue. Dont forget many if not most here that PLAY the games dont know how to do this....maybe you should offer a how-to for simpletons like myself.
A lot of folk like me play the games and offer feedback and help with bugs, etc. You might have the genius to make the games but you depend on us to give you that feedback and help you make a better game. Its a partnership of sorts. When you do things like I mention above, it tends to make it seem you have little or no responsibilty to us. We take time to play your games and if we like it, we gladly take MORE time.
I believe what I am saying makes sense to some of you but most of the replies will be from thin skinned pissy pants....(maybe not though).

Reminiscence: The WTF Saga
I am having the worst luck in killing the bandit leader. No matter which combination of characters with all the levels at least 15 and the best armor/weapons available at this part of the game for everyone, I cannot beat them. Any spell I use lasts no more than two rounds and most of the time its either just one round of it doesnt work at all.
Perhaps its just another level or so and I get a strong multi enemy spell or one which is stronger attack for one enemy. For the bandit leader and his two wipes the lower level all enemy spell like fire,spark or ice just isnt getting the job done.
It isnt funny that grinding so many exp just to get to the next level only for it to be some silly useless spell.
Maybe there is something else to do before the bandit leader but I havent found it. Once again I am thinking you wont get the grapple until you get past the bandit leader.So I am just going round in circles slowly building EXP which isnt helping.

Gee Nhubi you dont look a year over 7. Once that bug bit you though, it certainly bit hard.
