[Full Game] Fenrir: First Operation
Good to hear it! =)
Been Christmas day for 40 minutes over here, so consider this my present to the community
EDIT: I just realised I forgot to put the title screen in XD Basic mistake. New version has been uploaded. Sorry about that, enjoy.

[Full Game] Fenrir: First Operation

After a couple of months of work on this project, which mainly involved me sitting around and not touching RM2k3 at all, Fenrir: First Operation is now complete and released!
Naturally you'll need RPG Maker 2003 to play this (unless someone can teach me the method to make the game run without RM2k3 installed).

The Plot
You are part of a team of three people sent to answer a distress signal aboard the ship, Fenrir II. You're given very little information, and the plot takes a back seat in this game, being suggestive, with messages on computer screens filling in most of the gaps for you.
Gameplay
The game is a top down shooting game. You have five pieces of health, and when all your health depletes you respawn at the last checkpoint. Most of the game involves simply moving from one area to the next without dying, with a few boss fights inbetween.

@Feld: Meine Deutsch ist nicht zu gut, weil ich komme aus England... I think. Haven't had to do German since high school. Be amusing if I could speak it better than Asa and Suzu though =P

Release Something! V - Discussion Thread
I vow to review all most some of the RSV releases by Friday!
(Because I'm visiting the mother all week and I have next to fuck all on this shitty laptop. I'll have nothing better to do)

Release Something! V - Release Thread
There's still some work to be done on Fenrir before it's released, and it's currently too near to completion for another demo. Instead, I present you all this.

Try and remember it, cause when the game hits early next year, it just might help you out a little.

It's a small city in the backend of nowhere that no one in the country seems to have heard of. We somehow have two cathedrals - which is possibly the only reason we've been named a city. We also won Britain in Bloom this year, go team, so it's a pretty green city.
We've got a couple of malls, literally, a couple, about five Game stores, and an equal amount of Subways and Starbucks, with most of our shops having another branch, literally down the road from each other.
Oh, and we have the Forum, where local BBC broadcasts for the region are made, where our library is, and also the local 'scene' hangout.
Other than that we have the University of East Anglia and the Norwich University College of the Arts (previously the Norwich School of Art & Design), the latter of which I'm a student at.
Was born and raised here, so even though I now live in my own place, I've really not gone very far from home. It's a nice place and I love it here, but I will be leaving after college.

Wow, didn't go there was so much support for Fenrir. Thanks guys =D
@Orig: There are larger areas, but a lot of it takes place in confined corridors. It's mostly a linear game. Go from one side of the screen to the other kinda deal. It's basic, but it works.
Some new screens for you all

It's really coming close to completion now. Hope to enter beta testing by New Year's.

What do YOU want for Christmas v2.0
... I already got everything anyone could possibly get me. Really not going over the top with Christmas this year. My parents are giving me £30 and that's about it.
However, I have bought shit loads of stuff lately from an unexpected bursary and some overtime at work, including:
- 360 Games
- Tomb Raider: Underworld (Collector's Edition)
- Sonic Unleashed
- Saint's Row 2
- Spider-Man: Web of Shadows
- Rock Band 2
- Guitar Hero: World Tour
- Gears of War 2
- Naruto: Broken Bond
- Last Remnant
- Fallout 3 (Collector's Edition)
- Left 4 Dead
- Art supplies
- Paid rent, bills and tuition
- Limited edition 15th anniversary Sonic statue
- PlayArts Sora figure
- Manga
- Bleach volumes 20 to 25
- Naruto volumes 15 to 33
- Neon Genesis Evangelion volumes 8 to 11
- GeForce 9500GT graphics card
DVDs
- Hancock
- Lethal Weapon boxset
- Lee Evans Live at O2
- Lain 1 to 4
- Naruto Season 4 Part 2
- The Dark Knight
- Wayne's World 1 & 2
Then there's presents I bought for other people
Dad
- Only Fools and Horses series 1 to 7 boxset
Mum
- Rose wine
Grandparents
- Lee Evans Live at O2
- Bottle of Bell's whiskey
Girlfriend
- PlayArts Roxas figure
- Fullsize Kingdom Keyblade (she's a giant KH fan, what can I say?)
- Skulls (DVD she used to love, lent to a friend and never saw again)
I can't say what I got my housemate as he has a tendancy to lurk on and occasionally post on these forums.
... I went a little nuts on that spending spree, huh?
