What would RMN be like without the user above you
New Art & Still Life Pages [Warning: Image Heavy]
I'll join you in thinking that the lead isn't gonna win any beauty pagents.
She has trinagular ears and no eyebrows - also, when coloured, you'll see her skin is light blue.
Those might be the reasons she's not overly attractive. Well, that and the fact her muscles rival Arnie's in some pics, and the fact she's not human means her proportions will take some getting used to.
I dunno, maybe she's more for Star Trek nerds (if I ever meet one I'll hafta ask them).
(I never found Faith to be overly attractive and I loved Mirror's Edge foir the five minutes it took to complete it)

XBox 360 Dashboard Update
Party system is really nice and I'm liking the avatars - more clothes options woulda been nice though. Guessing they'll leave that for DLC so you can get your avatars shirts and stuff with real money =_=

XBox 360 Dashboard Update
So, the dashboard update hits tomorrow, a complete redesign of the basic 360 interface and the introduction of what are basically Miis to the console.
How does everyone feel about it? Personally, I know I'll spend five or more hours fiddling with the 'avatars' tomorrow and tinkering around with things. Good times.
I also hear that some people already have the dashboard update.

The only hypothetical question that matters...for game developers who are also grownups.
I'm already on a Games Art & Design course, building up the portfolio and skills required to be offered a job in the industry. Therefore, I already accepted that, to follow my dream, I will have to move a long distance. Probably out of this country. And considering I've yet to leave my hometown for any real stretch of time, I have all my friendsand family here too, that scares me.

"It's like going to a job interview, and being told that you have a great CV, and they really like you as a person. But they're not going to hire you. Instead, they're going to hire someone who's less qualified and possibly an alcoholic too.
However, they will ring you to complain about when said alcoholic doesn't work out. But they still won't hire you. Instead they'll use you as their base for comparison, and hire another arsehole, again less suited for the job than you. But never, ever, you."
Seriously, if you're in the Friend Zone, there's only one way out. Straight forward honesty. And if they shoot you down, they shoot you down. Don't think you can work on it a bit and ask them again later - because you can't. No means no.
