An amateur game developer/spriter at 19 years of age. I'm interested primarily in rpgs, my favorite being the Dot Hack series, but I'm also fond of many others including Final Fantasy, Legend of Dragoon, Star Ocean, Dark Cloud, Shadow Hearts, Breath of Fire, etc.
The game engine I use is mostly VX Ace, though if I feel like it I can switch to another one at any time, as I happen to adore the projects made in 2k-XP, as well as VX which I also use. Below is a list of my projects I'm currently working on, will be working on in the future.
Current Projects:
Tears of Samsara (Current)
ToS: Shards of Xielba (Hiatus)
Synthetic Odyssey (Team, Hiatus)
Butterfly Chronicles: Palemoon (Hiatus)
Cancelled Projects:
NightinGale (Wanted to test rm2k's waters, but gave up on it.)
They Come (Mess made in a week for an event that was scrapped half-way through.)
Tester For:
Lithia (Developer recently returned, though this is still cancelled)
A Reason for Magic: Santoo Rinba (Cancelled; turned into Moon & Star Preludes)
Chaos Divine
The Grandest of Dreamers (Developer's gone missing)

Final Fantasy Tactics: Blood Solstice (A re-balancing hack for Final Fantasy Tactics with a lot of palette swaps)

What Videogames Are You Playing Right Now?
author=BrokenHDid they ever re-add multiplayer into DW? I own 3 and 4 which both had it, but was so friggin' pissed when I rented 5 and saw like no option to go about doing it. (Same with 6, but holy damn did the ps2 version suck...I don't even want to think about that one anymore.)
My copy of Dynasty Warriors 8 is on its' way too so hopefully I'll be able to dive into feudal China while slaying thousands of dudes sooner than later!
Anyway, I can't believe I used to be so freaking ignorant when I was playing Pokemon as a kid. I've fucked up on other games, sure, but holy geez...just no, lol I mean I'm still no Pokemon Master stuck in a 10 year old body for all eternity but yeah I've been doing a lot better in my current playthrough of Fire Red.
Just reached Lavender Town with a pretty okay team of a Lv20 Meowth, a Lv25 Ekans, and a Lv37 Venusaur. (Did I mention that in all my previous Pokemon playthroughs I never kept or used "any" stat altering, or status changing moves? I never even switched out for another one if they got put to sleep, confused or frozen! Yeah so, movewise I only had attacks...oh boy.) :3
What Videogames Are You Playing Right Now?
About to start up Pokemon FireRed, then move onto Crystal, and finally end with Emerald. A good trio that eats up hundreds of hours~ :D (I might also do Diamond...which is sadly the last Pokemon game I bought~ :c)
Breath of Fire 6 announced, but...what the fuck?
Lol, imagine RE7 like this: Performing lightning kicks and Hadoken, morphing into a dragon, being able to use both Oni and Devil Force powers, being able to charge up and fire mega blasters while playing as Arthur having to fight against hordes of Phoenix Wright zombies! All while doing the (laughably) stupid thumbs up animation~ :p

Hey, I'll try and stay positive on the subject and take this as a possible sign that more "dead or alive" RPG classics, like "Wild Arms," "Chrono," etc. might come back from the grave.

But, seriously? Ryu and Nina are DLC? Welp, BoF go join Megaman...and a few others in the graves that Crapcom made for you. >,> (Next thing we'll see come the PS4/XBONE era: Breath of Fire 7; $60 + $10 to play as Ryu + $10 to play as Nina + $10 to see the true ending + $50000 to..fuck it, I'm done. xD)
From what I've heard, Ryu and Nina are DLC... Yeah. Take a moment to process that.

author=Ratty524Capcom killed off Megaman behind the scenes and replaced him with an emotionless puppet/copy to dance around in those two poor games. The remnants of his true/epic/phantasmagorphic data secretly made its way to Nintendo, and so began his new life in Super Smash Bros. xD
Are there any mobile/ipad games that are actually good?
I already have low expectations for this considering the atrocity I just witnessed watching those LPs of Megaman X IOS and that other game that looks like something made by a 13-year old fanboy from newgrounds.
As for the mobile games look up Kemco Games, they make some pretty decent RPGs for the Android. Nothing revolutionary, but still way better than those two Megaman ones; by far. :)

Why can't Capcom do something right for once this generation? Lol..Breath of Fire's one of my all-time favorite RPG series..and they do this? Idk, here's hoping it'll be good but...considering that Megaman's pretty much been mafia style whacked by Capcom, that chance is already looking "damn" small.
(So, what exactly is BoF6? An online BoF mmo/maplestory clone...? I don't really..see how that could work.)
