Update Notes (9/11/2010)
post=199918
Now I'm getting an Internal Server Error every time I try to post a new topic...
I just got the same error message when I tried to post in a game's Discussion section.
After refreshing FireFox though, I saw my post was added.
So, even if you get that error, check to see if your post or topic was added anyway.

None of the RMN hosted game downloads work, although the off-site downloads still do.
For the RMN ones, you get that error rabitZ mentioned:
"Forbidden (403)
CSRF verification failed. Request aborted.
More information is available with DEBUG=True."

Then make it selectable.
That way we can choose to either be notified when anyone makes a comment on a game page or only when the creator(s) does so.
All I know is that it's rather time-consuming for me to check each game page that recently "updates" to see if there's a new download or patch or whatever, when 95% of the time the update is due to random comments (or ongoing discussions), spam, or *a certain someone* coming through here on his/her semi-annual quest to ask on every page with an unfinished game, when that game will be finished.

The problem with subscriptions is you're notified when anyone adds anything to a game's page.
This includes new reviews, comments made by anyone in the Images, Reviews, Blog and Discussion sections, crappy spam, spammy crap, and the inevitable "when will this game be finished?" posts.
Which all kind of defeats the purpose of subscribing, since the purpose is to be kept informed of new developments about the games.
Now if we only got notices when the game's creator(s) made changes to their game page(s), that would make subscribing useful.

I tried the new version, got through the first maze, talked to the miner, completed the first quest, used the teleporter, went down to the next room, found myself back at the scene where Lucas says we have to run away from the large robot, and...my man got stuck.

Right now you can sort games by Date Updated.
But, Date Updated sorts them by any update made by anyone: this includes comments made in the Images section and comments (and spam) made in the Discussion section.
What's needed is a "Date Updated by Creator" category.
That way we can easily check for updated versions of games and patches for them, along with any interesting developments that the creator(s) post either in the Discussion or Blog.
Also, some creators have only posted download links in their blogs or in the section where they describe their game.
So, having this new category would alert us when download links are added to blogs and game descriptions.
It should also encourage game creators to post about their game more often to try and spur greater interest, knowing that every time they update their game page in anyway, it'll move to the top of this new sorting category's list.
And people would make use of this new sorting category if it's added to check to see if several games they have or are interested in have had new versions, patches, or info added recently.

You Decide - Stay or Go?
I checked out your maps, Xearoth93z.
Here's what you need to understand.
Nature is not that symmetrical, so all that symmetry makes your natural maps look unnatural.
Man-made structures can be symmetrical though, so I think the symmetry in your temple/boss room/whatever is acceptable.
However, the room's square walls create too much open space; maybe change it to a hexagon or octagon?
Changing its perimeter's shape to one of those would also bring those curtains at the top closer together, which would frame the top part with the candles and whoever is standing there.
Also, unless the floor is brand new, there would be signs of wear and tear, so you might want to edit the chipset to add that element to that map.
This same principle of variance also applies to the rest of your maps: vary the type/size/shade of trees, stalagmites, crystals, rocks, etc. to make it look more natural and real.
Yes, this means quite a bit of work, but these are (some of) the secrets to great mapping
I do think you have potential--your maps aren't really horrible they just need quite a bit of tweaking.
Good luck with making your game (and getting it eventually submitted)
*also remember to backup your work often to another storage medium*
EDIT--Is this the game in question?

Was it accepted then?

Clock of Atonement
Do you have Vista or Win7?
Maybe you need to give the game administrator rights. Or try running it in WinXP compatibility mode.
Or both.
