I tried the new version, got through the first maze, talked to the miner, completed the first quest, used the teleporter, went down to the next room, found myself back at the scene where Lucas says we have to run away from the large robot, and...my man got stuck.

He wouldn't move, the ESC key stopped functioning (so I couldn't bring up the menu)...I couldn't do anything at all, so I closed the game.

Seems I found a game-breaking bug 5 minutes into the game.

Superes, you're the victim of a relatively rare bug in RPG Maker 2000 & 2003 games where once the music stops and doesn't come back, if you then try to save your game, you will get that "not enough memory" error and your save file will become corrupted.

This is not the fault of LockeZ (who made this game) and there's nothing he can do about it.

The only thing you can do is to work around this bug by doing the following:

1) Make sure you DON'T SAVE if the background music suddenly cuts out and doesn't return without first making a backup copy of your save file FIRST.

2) Constantly make multiple saves in case one of them gets corrupted anyway.

3) Shut down the game completely every hour or so, after saving, then restart from your last save. This prevents the "not enough memory" error from happening. More than likely the cause is a memory leak in the program that can lead to this error if the program is left running too long.
