Does sickness normally cause hallucinations only when you wake up the day after?

I've never had a hallucination after being sick. I hope you're alright!

Just bad combinations of food in my stomach. I've puked the first time, haven't the second. Both times I've had a short hallucination when I woke up the next morning.

E: Of course, I haven't hallucinated every time I've gotten sick and puked.
