Have you considered being more interesting?
I generally don't try (Even if I make a Novel out of every Blog I post, it's just a fun factor), but I do secretly hope somebody actually takes a quick look at my Games once in a while. Since I don't really care for buzz or making Money of off my Hobby, I just do whatever I care to do. (Also getting help from an Engine that has died 7 or so years ago also hurts me, because I wanna have cool things, but I'm no scripter so I'm generally screwed out of cool things.) I do still try though.

This is a Job Board and I didn't wanted to make any details about my problems and since I always just at random times in any given week find new stuff that need's fixing, I was trying to find a Scripter who can help me out whenever. I also had no Time writing out the problem anyway, since I was about to go to work.
But anywho, my current Problem lies in Yanflys Engine Melody Script "New Battle Stats" and Yanflys Engine ReDuX "Custom Dmg Formulas RD". Both scripts work perfectly fine (If you can call it that.) with each other and the Game runs fine. However, since the "New Battle Stats" script adds two additional Status Props, being Resistance and Dexterity and with the Custom Damage Formula I wanted to give Skills a 1000 Multiplier for the Spirit Value, which makes a skill 10x as strong, will not work with the New Battle Stats Script. And yes, I tested it out by just removing the script New Battle Stats script.
This isn't the only problem. There are (and probably will be) more problems I'd like to solve. I didn't made this Thread because I wanted one simple fix, I wanted someone to either teach me how to solve simple fixes and write them down or somebody could work with me full Time and create one or two small scripts as well. If I wanted a simple fix, I would've asked in the Help me or Program & Plugins section.
And of course I could look up and not be lazy about it, but the fact this engine is so niche and the coding language is nowhere to be found on google anymore (or my simple not-understanding of programming at all/whatever you wanna call RGSS2) makes this all tedious and not worth my time. I'd rather someone with a passion for Coding help me out and teach me a few things.

I always have tremendous Trouble whenever I add new scripts and try to adjust them for other scripts and sometimes I can't find any solution for compatibility at all. That's why I kinda wanna ask somebody who's still around the RGSS2 group (if any) to help me out full Time. I'll go as far as paying you too, if you are interested and will go ham with it, if it's really that complicated.
Though be warned, you probably won't be doing much, since A: I will try to solve this Problem on my own sometimes and B: there aren't many issues I have, though they do stress me out sometimes and I just drop the ball on some of them.

[RMVX] can't dup NilClass
Ok, I tried putting it in, but the same error occurs, but thanks to that, I might know what causes it. I tried like another 20 test fights and it seemed to me that the error occurs whenever I do a step forward or my actors are moving while the damage pop up/calculation tries to show up. I don't know if it is the pose or the movement itself, but it might be one of them.
What that has anything to do with the damage pop up/calculation, I have no idea.
Edit: I THINK I might've fixed it. At line 1072 I put _ instead of -. I don't know if that just straight up needs to be like this or what... but the error doesn't pop up anymore. Though I'm still kinda sceptical that that was actually it, because these two sequences don't really have anything to do with stepping forward. :|
Edit2: I meant the "WAIT_CRITICAL" one. I think somewhere it defined it like this and it needed to have the - instead of _. I remember trying to create a new Standby Action, when I accidentally removed the "WAIT-CRITICAL" action.
I need to make sure that that's it and go with low health in battle.

The error occurs (what seems to me) randomly, but of course it isn't. Most of the time the enemy is using it just fine, it only happens occasionally during a fight and it's always when the Battler uses the skill. So my hunch would be that it has something to do with the Actors Action sequences whenever they take damage/die/move.
I never really created another module or whatever, because I'm too dumb to script.
I don't know if it also could be because I just simply put another script above this one or what.

I have an error occuring whenever an enemy uses a skill. I use Tankentai for my battlesystem and what I have noted, is that the error appears right before the damage calculation/ pop up damage (Number Images)/ *target being killed
* meaning that it might or might not have something to do with it, since it always seems like it's getting triggered when someone is about to die.

This is actually finished. The Episodes thing means that it's like a Series. Maybe i just shouldn't have included that. lmao
