[RM2K3] Character won't step back in place during battle
Hey everyone,
Encountering a glitch in battle where my character will not return to his starting position during battle after an attack, but every action from him will set him back at his starting position than where he moved. What is wrong?
-Update: On a battle without events, this doesn't happen.

[RM2K3] QTEs with Conditional Branches and Characterset for Icon
1: I am using characterset-based icons that pop up whenever the PC can initiate a QTE. I can event this one with no problem although I do have a 1-second Wait command so that the PC can't move when it's up.
2: I have the input variable at 5 (decision) and then a conditional branch for when Control(Key Input Variable)=5/the player presses a decision button, the PC will respond. Sometimes it doesn't process. The player may proceed at any moment within the given time.

Would someone tell me what I am doing wrong? I suppose that I could do this by having the option to decide whether to go through with the action be within a switch.

[RM2K3] Increasing a variable by # of times a spell is cast
Hey everyone.
I have come up with the idea for a magic system where the main character learns magic the more he casts a spell. Per every spell cast, it increases the variable by 1 until the spell is learned. My problem is that I am wondering if there is a way to track the number of times a spell is used so that I can assign a variable, let's say the Elemental EXP, so that it increases.

I tried to make my game in RMVX Ace for the last few days, but it just doesn't feel authentic and I can't find the resources to actually make it look like an SNES game. I'm made some progress in RM2K3 and I am willing to give up the luxuries of Ace just so that I can get the game I intend it to be.

[RM2003] Properly Adding Music While Close To Victory/Near Death
I was wondering if playing the select theme while either the enemy or the batter is at 25% HP had to have something extra so that it doesn't repeat itself from the beginning at every turn.
