RMN 4th birthday 4-hour
author=drakiyth
I have a game pending, rcholbert. Been almost 24 hours now.
For some reason your game was not in the submission queue meaning there was nothing there for anyone to approve/disapprove. I found it buried in our history log. It should be active now, and will still count.

Darn! My game is STILL pending! It's been nearly 24 hours!
If by 24 hours you mean 13 hours, then yes it has.
Please chill on the submission queue folks. There is no "things" to make it speed up. A staff member still has to manually review your submission and accept it. Any game submitted before the deadline will be accepted.

Folks who are worried about their game download still pending: it's no big deal, the system tracks when it was submitted.

Go-go-go-go-go!
"Sequels that should never be made, but that we will make anyways."

Double Standards
Let me make this clear: if you do not like this site then leave. You were denied no right as you claim as no one is entitled to free game hosting and/or most other services we provide. There are numerous legitimate ways you could have resolved this problem with the site staff, but instead you decided to make an entire thread denouncing the site staff and policies without ever allowing them to elaborate on the issue or attempt to resolve your problem.
ankylo is right, we typically monitor copyright infringement issues only passively i.e. when we receive a takedown request from the copyright holder or an authorized agent. However, in this unique instance your game was caught actively during the submission queue process. Given the stance you have taken since, I will stand behind that decision. If you can provide documentation that describes your rights to the resources in questions this decision can be reversed. Feel free to PM me or e-mail the documents to rcholbert@rpgmaker.net; do not make a new topic on this issue.
The double standard issue is moot given this is a community that originated with the distribution of illegally translated and released ASCII/Enterbrain products -- times have since changed. Though rips may be considered tacky, they are still considered acceptable by the social norms of the community. Taking original and/or commissioned resources without permission from another user or an indie project is not, however. There is honor even amongst thieves.
Doesn't Edifice use battlers from Battleon?

What's the new Featured Game?

It's June 1st where I'm standing. Or are we running May's until RMN4 is released this week?
I think you missed the part where RMN4 got delayed after we were forced to move the behemoth to a new server after we parted ways with UBM TechWeb. All in due time, though.
(new featured game is coming)
Favorite videogame world.
I really enjoyed the world of Thedas from the Dragon Age series. It's kind of odd to say that because we've only had the opportunity to explore two irrelevant nations so far -- Fereldan and the Free Marches -- but we know a lot about the other ones because of interactions with citizens from there and a lot of codex entries. I really like how lots of the nations shares bits and traits with real life and/or historical nations but still manage to be their own. Looking forward to exploring more in Dragon Age 3!
I also really, really dig the world of Ivalice from Final Fantasy Tactics, Final Fantasy XII, and Vagrant Story -- all three of them some of my favorite PS1 RPGs.
