No need to do that. I'm checking through the event codes. The only times I disabled menu so far is in the intro and just before you meet Darwin, both times I re-enabled the menu after. So I'm not sure what could have happened there. Did you save before it happened? Would you mind it again and see if it happens?
P.S. Are you playing it on the editor? To my knowledge, "Shift"ing through all the dialogue while test-playing on the editor may mess up some events.

Leo & Leah: A Love Story
I've recorded all the known bugs here to curb the comments reporting the same bugs over and over:
http://rpgmaker.net/games/2324/Bugs/
Laryngitis has a 1 in 6 chance of occurring when using War Cry. 2 in 6, Daisy can attack 5 times. And 3 in 6, Daisy can attack 3 times. So I guess you just got lucky for Chapter 3 :)
Glad you enjoyed it. Did you complete it?

Leo & Leah: A Love Story
You should be on the fifth chapter. There are six in total and the sixth is very short. I'm not sure but chances are you could encounter an event that might fix your direction somewhere along the way. Do you have the editor? You can always edit in an event somewhere to do it.
I will keep your recommendation in check! I would however like to find out what caused that first.

Leo & Leah: A Love Story
Haha man, all you need to quote to fully get across the theme of the game is the game's opening African proverb and the song that can be found here:

As for in-game dialogue... I guess I'll let someone else decide. That's pretty cool, though, with what you're doing with TVTropes and RPG Maker games. Did you do the Alter AILA one? that one is massive

@Crystalgate:
That's really weird and unfortunate =( When I tried it just now, this didn't happen, so idk... Unfortunate too because the end of the game is very near after that.
@eplipswitch:
argh pretty much hit the nail on the head regarding Leo and the villains. Leo is a lion. He's a predator. He's fearless. And he's not going to take anyone taking his girlfriend away lightly.
I kind of wanted to go the route of "less is more", especially coming from the clowns. The player is a character in the game too and there are scenes tailored to elicit certain deep reactions (I hope) from the player instead of Leo to make up for his "fearless" nature.
@argh
I was originally going to have more scenes with Charlie Darwin but it seemed to break the flow. I guess I wanted to make a game with a fully developed plot with the least (~two per chapter) cutscenes as possible. I admit I could've done better with Daisy's character. But oh well.. at least we eventually find out her deal, and she is pretty badass in battle... And thanks for the TVTropes page, dude :)

Even if Brandy is made slightly sympathetic before her death, that's not his nature to spare an enemy at all. When she tells Whiskey that she doesn't know what she'll do without him, notice this is when he springs up and bites Whiskey in the ass. As for the clowns, they feed on emotions and they saw the love brimming from Leo and thought they could have a feast on it. Except both Leo and Leah end up eating him instead, while a crowd cheers.

Leo & Leah: A Love Story
Yeah I get what you mean about Mother 3. It's not really for everyone. I, too, thought Tanetane Island in Mother 3 could've been creepier also.
I guess I picked Leo to be a silent protagonist because all he really does have on his one-track mind is Leah. There isn't anything for him to say that isn't already being said by the plot itself. There are a few small things, though, like how after a certain point, Leo doesn't eat Yummyhops automatically anymore. Maybe he feels guilty after a certain chapter??????? lol
And yeah, I see some weird things from TVTropes. It still kind of befuddles that someone made such a detailed one for A Home Far Away. I still would like to know who that person is...! Seeing one for Leo & Leah would be pretty interesting, I admit, as I even have a TVTropes page reference in it. If you choose no to anything, the character says, "But Thou Must". Ha. You're always welcome to write a review if you wish to express what you really thought of the game!

In Defense of The New Disciples
The defense actually makes the game more horrible. Word of advice: If you wish to blaspheme, don't rationalize or apologize when you blaspheme.
