Nice. This is a fan game done right. Hopefully the rest of the game looks as good as the battle screens.

That green upsidedown face in the last one kind of looks like Kevin Spacey. If he were upsidedown in a dark room.

The only christmas song I actually like is the ELP one. And it's only because as I'm hearing it, it makes me think of their other songs haha

Looks like someone just turned the xmas lights on a few minutes ago. I had a page loaded, and after submitting my post the lights appeared. Bah Humbug.

The Legend of Zelda (Solarus Edition)
I talked to every NPC in town and I don't recall being told where the sword is. I can try again at some point and see if I just missed it. Still, I shouldn't be able to go anywhere without the sword. If that were the case, I would have eventually found it.

Considering the perspective, we should see the roof of that red car. It looks like a cardboard cutout.
ha Also those roads remind me of that episode of Seinfeld where Kramer painted over the lines to make wide lanes. Looks like you could fit 2-3 cars in those lanes. Hell you could fit 2-3 houses on that road. Oh and the driveways have the cars on the grass when there is tons of room to the side. You should make it so the cars are centered in the driveways. It means using 3 tiles for the driveways instead of 2, but it would look so much better. Or cut the cars into 2 tiles. If they don't move it shouldn't matter much.
Why did the chicken cross this road? Not sure, I'll let you know when he finally gets here xD I kid, but I like the style and everything else looks pretty good. Like a more realistic looking pokemon style.

I tried this but couldn't seem to find my sword. I think it's a bad choice to go so long without being directed to a sword. I think I ended up in a dungeon with blue and red switches. I tried to progress in the hopes that my sword was in there but there was no way to do it. So I quit.
Too bad. It's a great engine.
Also the way the engine works, I was able to get max rupees within a minute in the first town. Putting high end rupees under pots is a bad idea.
