The Legend of Zelda: The Last Hero

It's weird how your big shield disappeared, as I remember setting that item to not be eaten by Like Like type enemies. Did you save your game after dying?
My big shield was eaten twice, so that setting definitely didn't work.

I seem to be stuck in the Cliffside Temple.
I've tried bombing every wall, pushing every block, killing every enemy, etc. But I can't seem to find where this last key is...
I was stuck in that same spot for a very long time too.
I'm pretty sure the wall I'd forgotten to bomb was in the room to the left of the entrance to the dungeon.

I also never managed to find the dungeon map. The dungeon is a pain to search because there are no bushes near the entrance to replenish bombs.

I think I found another way to get stuck.
If you dodge the tornado created by the whistle, it won't let you summon another one until you leave the area. Not normally a problem, but there is a heart piece in an area with no exits, requiring the flute to enter or leave. Mess up your teleport and there is no way out.

In other news, I have defeated Ganon... and am apparently still unworthy of wielding the Master Sword. Did I miss a quest somewhere?

In the first area with enemies, I crashed the game trying to figure out if there was another area off the right side of the screen. Hitting enter while facing the edge of the area consistently produces the following error:
Script 'Quasi Movement' line 587: NoMethodError occurred.
undefined method '' for nil:NilClass

This is in version 0.9.1.1

Okay, I uploaded a new version that removes the exclamation bubbles enemies get when they detect you. I think that's what's causing problems. Could you give it a go and see if that fixes things?
I already restarted with the same version and couldn't reproduce the problem.

Overall a fun game. I was at level 10 when I finished, and had no trouble against any enemies except for the first boss. Despite exploring the whole map to get all skills I still was down to 10 hp when I beat it. I'm not sure if this means the first boss is too hard, or my strategy was just poorly suited for that one fight. I'll have to start a new game and try something different.

EDIT: After many attempts I managed to reproduce the issue once in the old version. A similar number of attempts failed to reproduce it in the new version. Not the best sample size. I do hope you can fix the issue, because I liked the exclamation bubbles.

As for the first boss, I think I only cut it so close because I was under-leveled (4). Still, when I restricted myself to the skills available without leaving the quadrant, I lost with 98 hp remaining on the boss (I was level 6). There isn't much room for variance in strategy with only 6 skills to choose from, so unless all players are expected to bypass the boss at first, I think it needs to be toned down a bit.

Uhm, hello, could someone help me?
I'm in the Winter Temple, stuck in the statue puzzle:
I tried making them like this: Francis and Maria facing each other, David facing Maria, Angelica facing David, while the King is facing North and his son is facing West.

Where am I wrong?
Please help me.

Here is what I see in game:
Meanwhile, at the capitol building, King Sebestian stares out his window at the setting sun as his son William watched him from across the room.

To me, this would seem to imply that the king should be the one facing west, while his son faces him.

Gaia, I'm a little curious about one thing. Do the Angel and Demon Cloaks that you acquire late-game work the way the description says in the deluxe version? I never noticed it working on the mac version of this game. I could wait and see, but it's painfully obvious that doing that with an RPG game is torture since it could take hours, days, or sometimes even weeks depending on the game to find things like that out.

Copying saves from my original play-through to a new install of Deluxe Edition (1.1), I see Angel Cloaks providing around 5% health regen at the end of each combat round, but Demon Cloaks seem to do nothing. In addition, Zenith armor restores only HP even the the description says it automatically heals both HP and SP.

Could anybody point me to the treasure in the swamp. I dropped the stone into the water, and it said "something moved" I have red flashing, but been over the swamp again and again, but can't find it.

If anybody still on this forum, please help.

Another thing is I equipped Pry skill, but still can't open Red Chests.

Would really appreciate some help.

The switch simply removes the rocks blocking the exit at the other end of the bridge, making it possible to continue.

The red flash is probably indicating that the contents of the green chest (near the northern edge of that map) are awesome, so you should make sure to come back after acquiring the CHANT skill.

Someone please help me !!

I am stuck with this red/blue puzzle in the winter temple. I have been trying to make them all blue but I am not able to do it :'(

Searched everywhere for the solution but couldn't find it.

Awesome game btw !!

Solution for the first set:
Activate both the diagonal switches.
Use the switch for the bottom row.
Everything should be sorted into perfect columns now. Turn the red columns into blue columns and you're done.

Solution for the second set:
Activate all switches along the very top (both of the diagonal switches and two switches for vertical columns).
Everything should be sorted into perfect rows now. Turn the red rows into blue rows and you're done.

Wow, it really took 5 years for someone to discover that? I'd better update it and make sure Greenvale's off limits until the rest of Chapter 3 has been completed.

I could've sworn I'd made it so there's a guard at Peregrin Canyon if you haven't completed Chapter 3 though. Is there some other way to get to Greenvale on the world map that I've overlooked (ie. sailing around the back of the continent)?

Yeah, you get in by sailing around the western side. But it hasn't been there for 5 years - there used to be rocks in the water to block this path. They must have gotten removed in a newer version (my old install says build 6 if that helps) or as a result of installing the DLC.
