I'm 37 years old from minnesota.
I started back in 2001 with Rm2k and moved to 2k3, but never moved on after that.
I never really made much, but small mostly unfinished projects.

But I bought 2k3, VX Ace, and MV on Steam so we'll see if I get back into it.

I play the ocarina and also do parkour and freerunning.

I've also been into creating electronic music with Ableton Live. I've taken a few classes at a local music school and have been having a lot of fun with it.

I also like to compete on American Ninja Warrior when they let me.

I think I fixed all the major bugs so far, so now once I finish the ending, I have to see how much of the middle content I can get through.

So I had a dream the other night...

It does sound cool! I like the idea of multiple endings as well.

Oh, it's not diagonal. Nothing that fancy. Just controls for the second player.
But I put in the option to choose between the two since it was easy enough. The faster option is precise most of the time, but if you press it too long it detects it as holding it down and moves 2 spaces.

Quick question about play control, do you guys value ability to walk continuously when holding down a key with a chance that a single press walks two spaces or do you value not accidentally going two spaces but having to press a direction key for every step you take?

Or maybe an option to switch between the two?

Edit: So it was easy enough to put in an option to select either mode and to switch between them at will, so I did that.

Finally resubmitted my gamepage! Didn't realize the images each had to be from separate maps. Doesn't help that my first two look very similar, but they are actually different.

Also, I figured out how to make the second player pull levers in addition to just pushing blocks!

The only trouble I'm having now is getting the 2nd player to reliably trigger battles. It works, but sometimes the enemy touches Player 2 and doesn't start the battle. I'm using variables to track the locations of the player 2 event and the enemy event and if they are equal, the battle starts. But both events move and the processing isn't fast enough to get it every time I guess.
