Super RMN Bros. 2

Haha, well I made levels in Mario World for five or six years and never got tired of it.. This is slightly different and "new" to me, so I'm definitely enjoying it.

I still wish that there were Chucks though.

Chucks are these guys: http://www.google.ca/images?hl=en&source=imghp&biw=1276&bih=852&q=chargin%27+chuck&gbv=2&aq=f&aqi=&aql=&oq=&gs_rfai=

I'm not really digging it. The room is fine, but it looks strange down in the corner like that. It would probably look a lot better if the room was centered in the middle of the screen.

Super RMN Bros. 2

Well, just made another. Fatal Fall Fortress.

Super RMN Bros. 2

Hey! CRABBY Coast! Haha.

And yeah, my lack of power-ups is from me being a Mario veteran. I usually only place about three in each level. I always felt that any more than that and it made things too easy.

What Videogames Are You Playing Right Now?

GT5 arrived in the mail for me today, and I got a sweet Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Stealth as a reward for ordering the game from Amazon.

I've fiddled around a bit with setting in GT Mode (I think that's what it's called), but haven't had any races or license tests yet. I played a few races in arcade mode, though. Monaco and Trial Mountain both look great in GT5, and custom tracks that you can make in the track creator aren't too bad looking. I noticed that the tracks themselves (meaning the tarmac and trackside) look pretty great while the backgrounds and such look decent. Overall, making tracks isn't too thrilling, but it's pretty fun to make a track that you think will suit your car's performance. Or you can just make tracks for testing purposes, which is fun too.

The custom soundtrack option is great. When I first played, I paused the game and tried to play music through the XMB, but it didn't work. Then I read up that you have to set the songs that you want to play via GT5's options menu. Why don't more PS3 games allow you to set custom soundtracks while actually being IN THE GAME? Kudos to GT5 for allowing it.

A lot of people were moaning about the differences between premium and standard cars before the game came out, but I can honestly say that, visually, the difference isn't as significant as the nay-sayers led everyone to believe. You can only pick apart things that suck on standard cars if you actually intentionally look for things wrong. They look fine, really.

The driving is really great though, I can't get enough of it. My SLS AMG handles beautifully and is a very cool car. I had to buy a crappy clunker in GT Mode to start me off, but I haven't used it yet. I forget what car it is, but it only cost me 12,000 credits and seems like a piece of junk. I'm not bothered by it since I have my SLS AMG.

Oh man, the thwomps in SMBX suck. They come down way too quickly and way too late.

Liberty jumps on the LET'S TRY wagon

There are ZERO reviews of any kind existing for Blackmoon Prophecy anymore. I'm going to upload a very lengthy demo on the weekend if you're interested in giving that a try.

Super RMN Bros. 2

Just made a cave level. Batty Bungalow.

RPGS... you've beaten

Baten Kaitos
Breath of Fire
Breath of Fire 2
Breath of Fire 4
Chrono Cross
Chrono Trigger
Diablo
Diablo 2
Dragon Age: Origins
Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles
Final Fantasy Mystic Quest
Final Fantasy 4
Final Fantasy 5
Final Fantasy 6
Final Fantasy 7
Final Fantasy 8
Final Fantasy 9
Grandia
Mega Man X: Command Mission
Ogre Battle: March of the Black Queen
Shining Force 2
Valkyrie Profile

Almost beat Final Fantasy 13. Got to the final dungeon, but lost all motivation to keep playing. To be honest, the final dungeon just sucked ass and I think that's what killed my drive to finish the game.

Got extremely close to the end of Breath of Fire 3, but then my disc screwed up. It made me very unhappy, because the game rocked.

Played the shit out of Morrowind for years, but never finished it. I really don't know why.

Is it possible to make it so that, like in SMW, a mushroom block gives you a fire flower/whatever if you're already big Mario?
Yes, just set the block to have a fire flower inside. If you're not big, then it gives a mushroom. If you are big, it gives a fire flower. Same with all other power-ups.

Don't know about the tanooki suit, though.
