Let's Discuss Super Powers!

Hi. Stilt Man. Bad power.
"Stilt-Man first appeared in Daredevil vol. 1 #8 and was one of his earliest enemies. He is a criminal wearing a suit of armor with powerful telescopic legs (useful for high-story heists)."
That is amazing
ly useless "power"

Oh, I forgot to mention. The darkness isn't included when navigating the map, you see. You navigate the map without the darkness, then when that big dark splotch appears the entire screen is set to a darker tone. This is a cutscene ^^
Also, it honestly doesn't matter whether my gamepage is dark or not because it'll not appear in-game ^^
Sorry for the misunderstanding ^^;
It's too dark for even a cutscene, if no details can be made out by anybody, dear. Make it about half as dark and do a shadowy image overlay~
First Person Battles in RPG Maker 2003?

Are you talking about my thread of "XP or Sphere"?
Nope! But that's a good one to mention. Edit your post and add a link to it! There's an actual article, in the articles section.
First Person Battles in RPG Maker 2003?
VX is "not free" but maybe googling it will turn up a download anyway if you know what I mean
Personally I prefer VX as I am using the Melody suite. Do a little research and see what's best for you (I think there's an XP vs. VX article on the site!).

You don't need to delete it... I don't think 2k3 is especially big, nor does its presence interfere with any other RM engines. VX only asks for 100mb minimum space.
First Person Battles in RPG Maker 2003?
My answer was that it is possible but not worth learning how to do, as that time can be better spent. The only reason* to use 2k3 for something this custom-intensive is because you've already invested so much time into a 2k3 project that it's counterproductive to convert it, or that 2k3's default features match the game you're attempting to make (kentona cited this as a big reason for using 2k3 for Hero's Realm).
Doesn't sound like either example fits this case, so I gave an answer AND solid advice. ;)
Yes, VX with Melody can switch back and forth between 3rd person and 1st person, even on the fly in the middle of a game. Lemme link you some stuff.

From Wikipedia:
Minimum
* Microsoft(R) Windows(R) 2000 / XP / Vista / 7
* 1.0 GHz Intel(R) Pentium(R) III equivalent or higher processor
* 256MB of system RAM
* 1024x768 or better video resolution
* 100MB available hard disk space
* Sound card
*that I have ever heard that is actually valid

Would making it so the heroes don't appear/ are hidden on the battle screen and using enemy sprites that look like your facing them work?(And yes, that'd be the best method for doing it in the confines of 2k3)
