Well technically it's "A Role Playing Game", but the English a/an system is based off of phonetic differences and therefore, saying the letter R begins the sound with a vowel.

And that's the old prototype stuff, and there's very few RTP I used even then. After I decided to do an engine, I decided to draw the stuff myself and/or have someone else draw things with me- might as well.

I love how half of the comments here are you and me talking back and forth to each other.

No, it started on the Famicom in 1991. Super Mario Bros. 3 beats it in a Japanese release at 1988. It came 3 years earlier than itadaki street.

I've never heard of Itadaki Street, but it must be an older 80s NES game to predate Super Mario Bros. 3.

It's not like it's my idea. You have to give Nintendo credit with their Super Mario Bros. 3 style of level advancement. I'm just adapting it because it's an idea that worked well for level advancement. I have to change several things from the original design for it to work at all well in NovaForce.

Yeah. It's actually got to do with addiction. I'm thinking of ways to use accumulation, simplicity ensuing complexity, and easy to handle controls to create a more addicting gameplay experience. Things like scores, collecting, managing, etc. all could possibly add a more addicting experience.

Yes it sounds like I'm a illegal drug seller, but small games that are very satisfying can be wonderful.
