I add a shitload of warning at th ebeginning not to take everything too literally - the things in the diary are definitely facts, at least whatever it posted in academia/websites, but be wary about interpreting ingame scenes, etc.

THE ANIME IS SET DURING WORLD WAR II. I TOOK THE CHARACTERS AND USED IT FOR THE AMERICAN REVOLUTION/7 YEARS WAR INSTEAD.

The show is also a comedy - this .... can be funny, but a lot of the times, its not and it takes its history more seriously.

I actually don't like Hetalia all too much - but I fell in love with the setting of early America. I stumbled across this anime and I thought, "Whoah! ... This can be cool ..."

I think adding some forests or a few mountains would help make the ground look a lot less plain. I see some trees in the top right area, so I know you have some you can use. Otherwise, it just looks like there's one house and absolutely nothing else around it for miles.
i can't do that because most of these maps are littered with battle fields.

But I guess those panoramas come from a map you first made in rm2k3 and then resized to fit in rmVX, right? (at least that's how I would done it) so it shouldn't be too difficult, laborious maybe, but also rewarding. ;)
In any case, it was really only a suggestion, so it's Ok.
Yeah, but these tilesets were all heavily doctored in terms of color in photoshop - I don't even have the originals anymore. :<
