Yeah. It's very loosely inspired, but it uses a Hetalia base. I guess I couldn't follow Hetalia's canon in the end because the genres are completely different. Hetalia's original concepts just didn't work out for something more serious and detailed.

I tried it myself and it looks bad. :-X Just 45 angled lines would be fine, too. Or like the Secret of Mana candy.

I used google maps and me and Tardis photoshopped the shit out of it, used textures. Tardis made the outlines so you'd have to ask him.
