YEASTER'S PROFILE

Hi! Thank you for peeping at my profile.
I like making modern-themed games. My first game, Onyx, was made in 2006, when I was a senior in high school. So it's pretty ROUGH, but people seem to like it? Total Chaos is my personal favorite, but it has some, erm, issues, too. Mystery Man Zero is coming you guys, I haven't forgotten about it. A full-game will come out even if it takes 10 years. Oh gosh, I hope it doesn't take that long, but you get what I'm saying, right?
Right now, I am also working on A Nightmare in Sunnydale, a horror genre mesh-up fangame, if you will. I also like playing games. Actually, playing RPGM games is legit one of my favorite pastimes. *insert smiley here*
When I can fit it in, I do a little bit of Gatekeeper as well, a sci-fi fantasy about a team of god-lite forces, Gatekeepers, who have to protect the dying Earth from forces they don't even know about.
If thou think they can take it, download some of my stuff!

A montage of thoughts about several games

I love FF6, but I think fans kind of overrate it. In my humble opinion, FF7 completely blows it (and every other game in the series) out of the water. FF7's story/characters combined with FF12's graphics would be immense.
I know I seem to be in the minority, but I can't think of one single thing that FF6 has over FF7. I just can't.

I hated the first Wild Arms. Forgot why though, but then again, I hated all of them aside from part 2 (which I thought was excellent). I tried to play part 3 and it was crap so I stopped.
Lunar 2 was great though. Anime-heavy which didn't bother me back then because I was all of 13, but I enjoyed it much.

My favorite FF though was part 4, if only because that was my first RPG I've ever beaten (and Rydia<3).

All of that aside, I am still of the opinion that there has never been (and probably never will be at this rate) a better Final Fantasy than VI.

Chrono Cross is highly enjoyable if you've never heard of or played Chrono Trigger prior, like me.
After playing the prequel, going back to CC was a little less than......satisfying, given the direction it takes on the second disc...

Earthbound is brill.
Though I'm probably the only person on Earth who prefers FF8 to the other Final Fantasies. It's nice to see FF7 get some love still. I know it's cool to hate it these days, but in my humble opinion, it blows the other games in the series completely out of the water, even if it's not my absolute favorite one. It's in a league of its own.

Would Real Life Music Be Distracting
It depends on the game, I guess. I played some games that used a few "real life" tracks, but those songs really decent and most importantly they fit the scenario, so I didn't mind.
It could work.

Thanks. This screen is mad old though. I'm not using that faceset anymore. I replaced him with Mekhi Phifer ("ER")
What are you working on now?
post=117219post=117218That's a 2k3 no-no. Set it to 1% or 2%, because it will trigger after everyone's turn, not just the boss'.
Regen that recover 5% of the boss' health.
I learned that the hard way. =(
