In my case, I am certainly grateful that I don't have to use these to get on the internet.
This unfortunately is still around.

I don't really miss the plow, having never used one.

I meant electronics, mainly. :P

Oh, OK.
I don't miss SIGSALY, for the same reason.

Dial-up. Not that I minded dial-up, but that fax squeal every time you wanted to get on was just too much.

Argh...that drove me insane. -_-
What I didn't like about dial-up was the fact that it used up your phone line, and you'd need a second one if you wanted to regularly use the internet and your home phone.
I definitely appreciate what is offered today because of that.
I was glad to be rid of cassette tapes when CDs came out.
Than I was glad to be rid of CDs when mp3s came out.
Still kind of attached to my big VHS collection though.

Is it too early to not miss spinning hard drives? I went all SSD around 2009, and I've just never been back.
LockeZ
I'd really like to get rid of LockeZ. His play style is way too unpredictable. He's always like this too. If he ran a country, he'd just kill and imprison people at random until crime stopped.

I don't miss smartwatches. I'm glad those died so fast.

That made me very dizzy. >_>

Nope, not in the very slightest.

Aside from price, I don't see why hard drives weren't being phased out sooner. Even before SSDs were becoming anywhere close to being popular, there were other forms of storage that were more reliable.
The only reason why hard drives are still around is because they're getting cheap. :\

I was so fucking glad when they made mp3 players with flash storage. Plug your player into your computer and dump a gig of music on to it! Before that I had a book of burnt CDs and it was just suffering compared to the convenience of mp3 players.
Also console controllers before the dual shock PS controller. Also wired controllers, keyboards, and mice. If I can't throw my keyboard across the room I want nothing to do with it!

I think, I'm getting to have too much music around me with mp3s, youtube, streaming and subscription services.
I'm in need of tapes and a manageable collection again. Also, I'm looking forward the day I'll be able to dump internet.

Do you think something superior will come around? :P
There will be a time where SAO will be dominated by Dota.

Ugh... -_-
Honestly, I think VR is going to end up like 3D...again. There was a period of time when nobody cared about 3D, and then it got popular again. However, I don't see anyone talking about it now.
Plus, VR's concept isn't how a lot of people enjoy games. A lot of people just prefer using controllers instead of having to use erratic motions. That was my issue with the Wii, and it made the gameplay experience unpleasant.
