Help in deciding on feateures
The reason I am removing a script has to do with the game crashing when the animated sprites guarding and then escaping. The same results occurred with another CTB too. (Something relating to the X axis visually changing temporarily when I guard and unable to find the x axis when I escape.)
But here is the features I am currently including besides one of the 2 scripts (Haven't tried them all).
-If animated battler script is removed, Moghunter's visual battle scripts will be used.
-Saba Kan's Random Dungeon Generator (enemies move on screen when you do. Has a Lufia ancient cave feel to it)
-Kread Ex Alchemic Synthesis (Haven't tested).
-Equipment can Lv up with a blacksmith.
- A skill tree of some sort (Originally thinking of Crystal's FF10 Sphere grid. Feedback on this idea would help). Here's an example of how I want the skill learning. Main character is a Warrior who can choose to upgrade martial art moves or choose to develop swordsmanship (Each fighting style plays differently such as sword moves being more damage related and martial arts being more buff/ debuff and status).
- Story is 7 episodes long. Each episode fully explores a country. You travel all over the world in the last episode (you get to see what has changed since you left)
As for the party members, you have 4 main characters and 4 temporary
The item process follows this path
1. explore random generated dungeon. Collect materials
2. Use alchemy to make items.
3. Lv up items with a blacksmith
Decided to keep the animated battler script. Still looking for feedback.
Crafting system preference
Sweet! The whole reason I thought about including alchemy is to balance out the areas where towns are far apart. Now I just hope Saba Kan's Random Dungeon Generator 0.14 works. Random generated dungeons and the customization of all equipment and items would be really fun.
Now would the Crystal Engine Sphere grid script be decent? I was trying to find a skill tree system and it was the closest thing that resembled one.

From the descriptions, Kreadex's is based on Atelier Totori and features
•Ability to create objects based on recipes.
•Ability to switch an ingredient for another of the same family.
•Ability to set traits to ingredients and put them on the final item.
•Alchemic level, experience and synthesis difficulty.
•More advanced trait management (add-on).
•Synthesis Shop (add-on).
Mr. Bubble's uses recipe books at an area and the books are then displayed.
All possible items, armors, and weapons in the recipe book will be listed and you will be able to craft them provided that the player has the necessary ingredients.
Hmm, looking at this made me realize Kreadex's includes more ways to create the same thing, add traits to the creation, and have to raise your alchemy level to create harder items. Plus there are two addons. I guess I'll try that one.

I am planning on a crafting system. Was trying to decide between Bubble's Tactics Ogre PSP Crafting System or go with Kread-EX's Alchemist script and addons.
Any opinion of which to go with? I don't mind difficult scripts, just looking for getting the most out a crafting script.

Thanks Amerk, I'll look into it.
I noticed http://www.hmix.net/ has a similar style, so I think I'll use some from there as well.
As for the sprites, I was considering Usui's sprites to be used with Victor's animated Battle but realised that the face and the sprites themselves would not look right side by side with RTP edits (found from sites like Closet, leisurely, mint chocolate tree, and WhereHere). I probably will just have all the sprites in the Victor's battle script be RTP edits.

Thanks Dyhalto
This thread got me thinking on using one main resource site and only use other resources if they sound like they could fit with it.
I'm thinking of using the fantasy section of "presence-of-music.com/" as the base of the OST. It uses mostly acoustic guitars, violins, harps, cello and brass instruments.
It kind of reminds me of Princess Mononoke
Since we are on the topic of consistency, I was wondering what your thoughts are with mixing tilesets. Right now I am working with only celianna's tileset. Would it be clashing if I had some of the interriors (not all) use rtp? Same with ocasionaly having whole dungeons use one or the other. Or is it best to just use one tileset? I know the RTP is less sharp looking than Celiana's.
