Looking for a long but easy game

"The Way" series was really easy and kept me busy for days.

[Poll] What should my first game be?

You could combine elements from all three.

An Action RPG with psychological plot involving a scientist involved with the creation of zombies.

Starting a new game - Need help with a name (rmxp)

My ideas are

"peacekeepers"
"existential"
"Radiant Heroes"
"pursuit and resistance"
"The Hope of Tomorrow"

[Poll] Unique party members vs job system

I think Vandal Hearts used this system.

[Poll] Unique party members vs job system

Hello everyone. When it comes to strategy and enjoyment, do you prefer being able to customize individual characters like in final fantasy 5 and Dragon Quest, or do you enjoy selecting party members with different skills. Sort of like final fantasy 6, and suikoden.
Can't think of any games that blend both ideas together. Maybe Pokemon.

Looks like someone was having too much fun in the splicing department

Selectable Window Skins

Both are very cool. The first one will help quite a bit.

Selectable Window Skins

Are there any VX Ace scripts that allow you to choose from more than one window skin?

Where do you get original materials for your project? Post about it here!

I'm pretty sure the music on these sites are free for at least non commercial

A helpful writing book

A wonderful book I read which has helped with my planning is called "The Writer's Journey: Mythic Structure For Writers" by Christopher Vogler.

It is similar to Joseph Campbell's "The Hero with a Thousand Faces"

It analyzes many stories and breaks them down into a consistent formula that the protagonist usually follows.
Here is an abbreviated version for your convenience

Main Character is called by fate to go on a journey and reluctantly crosses the first point of no return. There they begin their quest where they learn from the many tests and characters along the way. Then the protagonist reaches the darkest point of the story where they have a near death situation that transforms them. After that they receive the reward and return home but not without facing one more ordeal. This last ordeal fully transforms them into a hero. Finally they return home with some proof of their journey.

And that my friends is a summed up version of the "Writer's Journey"
