I like the colors a lot. If anything, you try to blend them too much, even in areas where they shouldn't. (Hair, metal surfaces, etc.) But other than that I think they're perfect for a 'realistic' look... Although, I little more hue shifting wouldn't hurt either.

Besides that, just keep practicing your anatomy, and don't forget to look at references of clothing and stuff...

How about this? ...The floor is already dark in contrast with the character (That blonde, spike-haired guy right? I really need to play your game. xP), so making the consoles darker wasn't really the way to go. You need to bring out more the objects (I suppose) you can interact with. Besides, does black machinery even exist? I'd think they'd be of plain stainless steel... I don't know.

Also, you have a little green in there besides gray and brow, so I colored one thing green as well. And purple goes well with green so now you have purple-ish pipes and metal crates. (btw, are those pipes on the ground? Should they be under it or go to the ceiling? An area like this doesn't strike as too safe, or easy to navigate for that matter.) Anyway, I colored the door red because maybe this is like a super restricted area...? Red and yellow are cautionary colors, also the reason I painted the wheel handles like that.

Heh; I wonder if Terra would go for Umaro? She's obviously got daddy issues, and Umaro is the hairiest of the group... xP

I like the right part of the room, but the left part is still too empty. ...Mmh. Maybe you should just cut the room in half. =P

Ok, what I pointed out before still applies here... If bombs and arrows only have limited uses throughout the game like blowing up walls and pressing switches at a distance, then fine; It's Ok if they are all the way over there next to the money... But if they (also) have an active role in your battle system, they should be next to the HP and MP bars where I can keep a better eye on them.

The same goes for the Weapon. ...And what's that bar to the left? Some kind of stamina gauge for the horses, maybe?

Whoa! Is this like a cutscene or something!? I hope you don't expect players to navigate this area with this kind of overlay effect on hanging over them all the time. And even if it is just a transitory effect, it strikes me as a bit too dramatic...

But besides toning it down a little. Try adding a "noise" effect to it or something. Right now is too blurry for it to pass as sand.

That little bridge looks weird. I guess it kinda makes sense that you'd place the logs like that over such a short gap, but still... xP

I'll never understand why people put their HUD element as far as each other as possible. Or like in here: one in each corner of the screen... When they all can be in one single spot, where the player can keep track of them with a single "eye movement".

Money and that thing on the upper right corner (which I'm guessing is a day/night system) are perhaps not as important to keep tabs on all of the time. But health and equipped weapons are, and things work better when they're close to each other.

^ Then you should update this screenshot so it faithfully represents the in-game content. If someone sees this screens and doesn't read your explanation, they may think the entire game is ridden with grammatical errors and choose not to download.

Also, is there a way for you to make that speech balloon "less tall"? That seems like a lot of wasted space for just a couple senteces.

Man, that's an oddly shaped room if I've ever seen one! ...If this is intended to be some kind of diamond shaped room, you better get some diagonal wall tiles in there. Those blocky, jagged borders look terrible. Also, throw a carpet in there or something.
