Simple pixel art usually doesn't need to use layers so w/e. But I use graphics gale because it has a better variety of tools and the convenience of having the drop tool on right click. The use of layers is also a great help when working with bigger stuff. Gale has a couple down sides though, the circle tool is usually a little off and it doesn't let you paste screen shots(this is the only thing I use paint for). If you switch you will have to relearn how to do certain things but I think it's worth the cost.

@Nessiah: I don't know if that chipset is custom or not but I recall using one that was similar and it was one of my favorites due to the the awesome colors and the overall feel of it so I'm to see something with that style. The menu is good too but to me it feels like it over the top with decorations or maybe it's just too visible or something.

I do always try to tell people if I know something they're doing wrong, yes. It would be extremely selfish of me not to give them help if I'm capable of doing so.
Don't take your own posts so seriously because often times people will disagree about what they think is wrong or not. When posting I always try to hold back on the criticism so I don't offend people.

The problem with that map isn't even spacing. The tile usage is just completely messed up and it's impossible to tell where the walls or the ground are.
No actually I can't and I'm not even joking. I just now see it after looking at it for a few minutes.

I don't think it's ever just one or the other if you want to categorize it that way. The first question I always is 'is it worth it?' and it usually doesn't need to go any further than that. There are many cases where confronting the issue will change nothing but make people angry so if someone messes up I write it off as a mistake and move on unless it happens again unless it's something important. I don't really consider my actions selfless or submissive but I do like to think I am doing the reasonable thing and everything else is irrelevant.
Recommendation: Stop Deleting Posts
Nah it doesn't really disagree with me it just uses the terms in a different way. Surely there are certain unwritten rules but rights just didn't seem like the right word and I'm not sure if freedom of speech is included. Anyway I don't really care to discuss this any further as my point has been made.
