Haven't posted in a while, but I've made some real progress compared to last image I posted ages ago.

@BlindMind: Hey, dude! Didn't think I'd see you again.

A World Where You Could Turn Back Time

You could technically go much farther back than 1 minute if you find enough people to chain your power with. With 1440 people you could rewind all the way back to when you met the 1440th person.

arcan, did you ever check out the Befuddle Quest games? IIRC kentona did that in one of them and it was pretty neat. :D

I definitely remember making an entry for one of the earlier ones. I'm kind of curious how you can make that game one player and how close it is to the original. I can kind of tell that some features were left out. I'd like to see him try to implement longest road :D

I wouldn't sweat it.

That is certainly interesting, but I am hoping to make something more on the commercial level. I suppose as long as I don't go around advertising then there won't be a problem.

What are you thinking about right now?

To be more specific, I am remaking the board game Catan, but I plan to use my own graphics/sound effects.

What are you thinking about right now?

I'm wondering if it's legal to remake a fully copyrighted game if I don't intend to profit from it.

Pokémon RMN Version

Well this sucks. I was taking time on making a good submission.

*sigh* I see the opinions here are as elitist as normal.

Can't tell if joking or not...

@Sooz: You have shadows that indicate conflicting light sources(ex. the stairs and the bench). In real life there is almost always more than one light source but for 2D games you generally want to stick with one to make things simple. I recommend sticking with a top-down light source and extending the shadow on the stairs a lot more.

There are a lot of seemingly trivial details that make the game much harder or even unfair and I can't tell if they are intentional. It really makes me wonder what the line is between really hard and unfair. I'm drawing my experience from everything up to the Monster X fight. I can probably come up with a decently sized list.
