OH man, dont no how to help fix that, but to help beat your shadow equip all agility items, you should be able to buy accessories and what not to boost it well. Also those spell books can boost it to.

Ok awesome, also when i press shift it doesnt bring up a map or any thing. I think one of the characters said it was supposed to. At least it doesnt in town.

When i tried to leave the town it said worldmap file cant be viewed.

Im the same way i never beat games near there time. I had like 60hrs on breath of fire 3 and was only 3 quarters the way through. I like to take my time and appreciate everything as opposed to keeping track of my time.
EDIT: Years back i played ultima online and it would take 8 hrs to walk across the world map i believe. Do you have any idea how long it takes on this. Note this isnt actually important, just curios.
