The Star Rod Chronicles

Okay, I found Flower and reached a town called Lowestoft. I'm tasked to investigate the village and found a Journal Key. The thing is, I couldn't find anything that remotely resembles a journal within the village and I'm also supposed to find sweets for one of the kids who knows something but couldn't find any. A little help here perhaps?

Alright, I got the third star shard and entered Tocaez Temple in the jungle. I made it through 5 floors with box puzzles but am stuck on the sixth one. Even though I pushed all boxes onto their appropriate buttons (yellow box to yellow button), nothing was triggered and I couldn't find any set of stairs either. Is this a bug or is this part incomplete?
That's strange... I just tested the 6th floor of the Tocaez hidden temple and it works fine. I even double checked and made sure all the events are correct. Are you sure you got all the boxes? There's four of them with four buttons. Also, Stairs are located near the area where you find the green box.
However I did find a bug with the moving tiles going into the wrong direction on the 6th floor, which will be fixed pretty quickly.
I believe it was the 6th floor. Or was it 5th? I lost count honestly. There were four buttons (red, blue, yellow and green) and the room with green button had spikes. Green box is located next to the yellow button. I didn't encounter any problems with moving tiles though. Additionally, I had to hit the purple reset orb once because I had made a mistake by getting one of the boxes stuck while moving.
Sounds like the 6th floor. And there was only one moving tile that had issues and it was an unimportant one.
Anyway, I just tested it again on my non-gaming rig without the advantage of debug and it still works just fine. It's possible that the red box might've slipped your mind after pushing it onto it's closest moving tile. Because it hides behind a large statue.
And yeah, you do have to be careful where to push your boxes. Let me give you a little tip, before doing anything in a puzzle room, search for boxes and buttons first, then after that, plan your route and then execute.

Okay, I left the red box to the last and the pathway opened. I didn't do anything differently this time except I didn't hit the purple orb since I didn't make a mistake. Maybe it was messing with the event or a bug only I had encountered. Btw I've noticed that 6th floor was laggier than other floors but that's likely due to its size.

Okay, I've come quite far in the game. I'm on my way to Utefue for the second shard but I'm a bit unsure if I should continue. Before entering the portal, it says that I should play a side story called "Ryoma's Tale" but it will appearently be released in a future update. Since I'm kind of a full achiever and in it for the story, I want to complete the game with no side quest remaining. Also, I've got two side quests which requires me to explore a tower and a crypt. There's a stone door at the beginning of each of these which requires a special key. I assume this key will be acquired later in the game right? I'm not missing something there?
The Tower and Crypt are for way later on the game. Basically, you won't be able to enter them until you get Flower. They're also optional, but rewarding.
As for Ryoma's tale... Basically, it's an origin story for Utefue. I'm still trying to think it over in my head while taking my break on how to do it, but right now I'm thinking of doing a brand new, shorter game separated from this just for the sake of new menu skin and other features that are fitting for Utefue.
But in addition to Ryoma's story, I'll also be adding in alot more in Utefue such as new places, quests, items and etc. So that Utefue will feel more complete for the main game itself. Think of it as DLC.
So to answer your question, I'd say keep on trucking. I totally understand the feeling of being a completionist, as I am one myself.

Well, I'll simply continue with the game then. Once this "DLC" comes out, I'll replay. Should we expect the new content within 2019 perhaps or in 2020? Btw, if I encounter any more bugs, I'll report them here, whether minor or major.

Thanks for the update but now I've encountered another bug. This time in the pyramid. It's regarding the trapdoor leading to the last metal chest. I pull the switch in the upstairs room with two wooden chests which supposedly deactivates the said trapdoor but when I got back to check, the switch was back in its original position, rendering the trapdoor still active and preventing access to the metal chest.
I think I know which one you're talking about... Again, easy fix. However, the trap door that leads to the last metal chest you speak of is actually deactivated via gold statue switches.

Hmm, I failed to notice the statues at first. Thanks for the info. Now I've made it to Braviel Fortress to kill the basilisk for the quest "Cure Wife" but I have no idea where to look and the fortress is just too big and complicated to search blindly. Any hint would be appreciated.

Okay, now I've encounteted a missing file error. After entering the rebel camp in the desert to take out their leader, the game crashes because of a missing audio file called "Blodeuyn Desert Dunes". I've checked the bgm files and it's indeed not there.
Son of a... That's weird... Wonder how that one guy who commented earlier got to the pyramid? Updating now.
Alright added the music file to the Ver. 1.1.2 rar file. Just re-download Ver. 1.1.2.

The Fortress puzzle is driving me nuts. After getting swords combination correct what do I do next?
After the sword puzzle, just move to the newly opened area behind the fortress. Grab the key there and open the final locked door. There's another puzzle like the sword one but this one is more obvious.
Thanks blackassassin7 for prompt reply but honestly I am still feeling like an idiot here, after clicking on the four boxes with the swords the last box gives this message.....``Huh there must be another switch around here`` after this I am lost as what to do next!
When you said that another area opens up did you mean I should exit the fortress?if so I don`t see another new area!

Okay, you have to hit the first three boxes, then the one on the wall and then the last remaining one. If you hit the sword on the wall after getting the first three correct, Are will say "Now we're getting somewhere." That should solve it. As for the new area, yes you have to get out of the fortress and go down the ladder located behind it, which wasn't there earlier.
