Better than a thousand words

Thanks, Purplehills!
I hope my contacted publisher will like it too.
RPG Maker games can be looked down despite their qualities... but I've done everything I can to make it worthy of their interest.

Bleeding Moons

The ilustrations took more time than expected. Poor artists have too much work and too little time...
But it's coming along nicely.
I can't give an ETA yet as it'd be premature. Since last year, if I had posted a date each time I hoped it was okay, that'll be like the tenth time I postpone the release.
I prefer not to say anything rather than lies. The way things go, it's still sometime this year.
In any case, the game is done and fully functional. And all the testers liked it, so when it's released, it won't be for nothing ;)

I'll post updates when I have more concrete info for you all. Hopefully soon!

Do you have any updates on Bleeding Moons? Is it almost finished? I've been waiting on it for a very long time and would be devastated if you'd decided not to release the finished English version of it.

It's been a long time since the last update, sorry.
But there is good news!

The game is finished and almost ready to be released.
What remains to be done is the correction/polishing of the English text (huge undertaking with 175,000 words!), some more playtest to be sure that no bugs are hiding in the shadows and getting the key illustration drawned.
And after that, finding a publisher.

I will also update the demo with the latest build and improvements when the text is ready. The current one is 2 years old!

If everything goes according to plan, Bleeding Moons should be available around this summer, earlier if I'm lucky finding a publisher quickly.

Still working on busts

By the way, do you plan on adding emosets to your busts?
It's extra work, but adds a lot more to the credibility of the emotions felt by your characters.

I went overboard with it in my own game, but at least make the basic ones (neutral, smile, anger, sad, laughing, etc.) especially for an atmospheric game.
I'll always remember that one game where a default cheery girl portrait was used and she was saying that the town was on fire. That felt really odd and kind of creepy.

Still working on busts

I like your style. There's something in them that makes them interesting to look at.

Soon a demo

If you need a hand with the beta test, I can play the original French version.

Bleeding Moons

Thank you Harue!

While River is the only obvious romanceable character in the demo, Ian can choose to be with 3 women in total.
Just like real life and contrary to most Visual Novels' "routes", you can even choose to go with all three at the same time, if you feel like it ;)

Or you can also choose to be alone.
As much as possible, I tried not to impose things on the players. Even River can be ditched at the start of the game, if you don't like her.

Let's talk about facesets!

Amaranth looks really good!

Museum (Musée de Cire)

Technically, Bleeding Moons is finished. I'm waiting for a few commissioned screens and the revised English text before I can start the "great game" of releasing.
If I can help you in any way for Museum, don't hesitate to ask!

Museum (Musée de Cire)

Pure luck guided me here. You should have told me you had started your game, Purplehills ;)
I'll definitely follow your progress!
