Some feedback on gameplay and class balance.
Healion, Enermag, food and healing skills all have a chance of failing. And I might be wrong but it seem to be related to the character's evasion or magic evasion, as class like Assassin that wear light armor fail at getting healed more often than others.

The Fury Gauge. In battle it seems like the only way to increase it is from those purple orbs that only get dropped by the elite version of mobs. Which can be a little bit annoying in certain area that mostly have normal ranked mob.


I missed some questions here.

Healing items/skills vs Evasion/Magic Evasion, I failed to find a solution
for this matter, since I already put 100% success hit for those items/skills.
Sorry. :( *This issue might caused by the rmvx script (in this case,
I'm using Vampyr Action Battle System, it's an old script and the author
isnowhere to be found / not supported this script anymore.)

Fury Gauge, I think I'll leave it that way, if a normal ranked mob drops
the purple orbs, there's a possibility you can do an infinite Soul Shifter everywhere. XD

Are i get right:
If "Stolen/ get item without from battle at monster/or not pay what buy at shop... (?) " -> "sin"
How then these good points? Can you put that ?
What "magic" at best to swordman? "heal"... but what like attack that you use?
Archer need only heal, that one should keep distance to opponent?

Good deeds -> Finish a sub quest or help people. For example,
during valiant war, if you help the injured soldiers, you'll get
Alignment +10. Yes, stealing items from shops or houses are counted
as evil deeds.

Swordsman's Power Strike is pretty good, master this skill,
and try to spam the combo A, S, A, A, S...(Depend on your Attack Speed,
you can use this skill more often or less). To hit mob with high DEF,
Rising Cut deals more damage since it has Ignore Def property.

If you have issue with reflex (or too lazy to use shield)
promote your Swordsman to Knight class, it has powerful Defense buff.
You may want to distribute all of your AP to Def and HP too. :)

Counter Drive return 20-25% of damage received? so if I get hit for 200 damage. the mob should receive 40-50 damage if it counter drive? hmm, to me when that drive trigger, it only seem to nullify the damage I receive. The mob does not seem to take damage back at all...

Concerning the elementalist books, what I meant was about the special effect on them. For example, the Excelion Book. It says effective against Robot type. Since elementalist isn't really meant to use melee attack I kinda thought the Excelion Book would also work on their skills, but it does not. With or without that Book equipped, Steel Grudge still take no damage from elemental magic and Void magic (energy ball) still do around the same damage on them too. It only increase the damage from melee attack.


Critical, Combo and Counter Drive damage points are hidden/covered
by the text. But maybe I'd missed something here. I'll investigate this
matter ASAP. Thanks! ^^

I see...Yes, it's kinda stupid to put those special effects that
triggered by melee attack for these books. I'll find a solution
to fix this problem. Guess I need to redo the stats for the book
or maybe give another suitable special effect.

Found the scarf and thanks for the response. I gotta say Burn and Confusion are by far the most annoying status effect in there.

For the cooldown issue. Hunter and Archer actually do fine. My issue initialy mostly was for the Cleric when healing in battle, but I guess at the same time it is not really an issue since I can just open the menu and heal myself from there without cooldown.

For Alchemist, it is probably fine too.. In the end it is not a combat class and I probably should have relied more on using Laneira's personal skills instead... which I kinda failed to do due to first playthrough and not knowing better... as well as completly messing Laneira stats^^


As for elementalist, I don't know. I suppose relearning mage's unmastered skills and use those instead might do the trick in my case... That being said, I kinda hoped Elementalist skills would have been more diverse and not just a more damaging version of mage's skills. Like for instance having Thunder Spark randomly target 1-3 foes or water bomb doing a small aoe upon hitting a target. Though, I guess once I get the eight stars skill, it will cover the AOE part for elementalist?

Beside those, some more question here.
How fast do I need to finish the puzzle map to get anything other than a medium healion? Especially the Rukken Shield... so far I managed to do it with 60 second left and still got a medium healion...

What does the counter drive actually do?

Are book effect only meant to affect melee attack and not the mage skills? kinda funny, smacking to smithereens a giant robot with a book because they seem immune to elemental magic...

By the way, nice to hear there is still some more contents coming up for the game. I kinda thought that beside the small bugfix on here, it was mostly finished and for now you intended to concentrate more on Avelions 5 and OP:WoT.


Hahaha yes, the worst part about these status effects are sometimes
it transfer your character to the next map in the middle of fight. XD

I'll reduce the cooldown for healing skills. Thanks for suggestion. :)

Actually, Elementalist class skills are supposed to give AOE damage
(it will damage several enemies near the target) The last time I tested
Elementalist class, the effect was worked (on v3.00 if I remember correctly.).
I'll give it another try and check these skills.

Puzzle -> Checked, it's a glitch. To get rukken shield, you have
to do it with 45 seconds left. Sorry :(

Counter Drive -> it will return 1/4 damage received to the enemy.
( 20% or 25%, I'm not quite sure, I forget some details in the game ^^; )

Yes, if you press (A) button to attack using the book, it's always
considered as melee. I'm going to fix the stats for the books though,
since the elementalist class doesn't need the ATK stat.

Major update for AV4 will coming out on July.

Status Effect. Beside Einhazar Necklace that you can get later on in the game, there seem to be very few accessory that grant immunity to at least one of the status effects. By the way, is there any equipment that give immunity to burn or ice status effect?

As for class balance from those I played so far, most of the melee class I tried did alright. They all had their pro and con. If anything the main issue I had with certain class goes with the fact that using one skill put the rest of the skills on the same cooldown. So using a skills with a 3 second cooldown will prevent you from using any skills for 3 second. A small global cooldown would not be much of an issue, However for class like Mage, Alchemist and Hunter a 3-5 second out of any skills With still many monster alive... can become rather deadly for them real fast.

Hey there, sorry for late reply. :) That's a lot of works to do
(which is very positive, of course^^). Thank you so much! You can get
Burn immunity from Sunshine Scarf early in the game. You can get this
accessories from a guy in West Demina, by doing a simple trade.

I'll give more accessories that gives immunity to some bad status effects in
the next major update that come along with new main quest (Eleven Warring Clans),
new area (Modos), a castle to build (In Feuerre), and new unique bosses (Samurai).

The cooldown issue, I'll leave it that way since I can't edit the ABS script.
Maybe shorter cooldown for alchemist, mage and hunter would balance the class
better? It's a hard decision since these range-type classes have overpowered
ultimate skill that can damage all enemies in one single map from any distance.

With the Hunter potential being 70 for both ATK and SPI, I just thought the class was meant to make use of both stat. Using ATK for attack skills and SPI for the healing skills if promoting to Cleric and perhaps some for magic defense.

That being said, if you got the intention to change it, I don't really know which would be better or at least be more balanced. Since from the start you said it was meant to scale with spirit so probably should go with that... It would make the classes stronger and more durable. Plus I assume it would be less troublesome too than to change all bows stats.

Other than that, something I forgot to mention on my last post. Is it normal for a character that wear the Archangel set to receive very low healing amount from the Hunter/Cleric healing skills?

Thanks! Yes, I think it's a wise decision to scale the damage output with
both ATK and SPI. Archangel set has Holy Def property, I'd never thought it would
decrease the healing amount from skill that has Holy property too. XD
I'll fix that.

Another thing, how do you think about the class balance in this game?
Is it well balanced? Sorry if I crave continuous feedback like this. It's nice
to get constructive feedback related to gameplay from you. :)

Hey there^^, finished main story quest and now into Hellgate Mode.

Gone with Samurai for Key and looking at the sheath he got it seem like there will be some issue with it and the samurai weapons when I change to its legion class. The sheath got class req. for Grimoire/Aelther Warlords, while all the katanas got req. for Celestial/Darkbring Phantom...

Appart from that some issue I came across during normal mode, most of them I don't know if it is a bug or if I was just missing something.

The fishing point near Earth Temple, tell me in Indonesian that I need a fishing rod even though I already got one.

The blacksmith anvil in the bought house at Demina doesn't seem to work at all.

At the border to Looset, I cant walk past the path with spike even though I am playing with Laneira that got Magic Barrier.

For Leoneth Duzan, I got the Grimoire Fang and gone to his tombstone at Secret Passage. I got no clue on how to make the boss spawn. tried to interact with the tomb and hitting it with the sword equiped...


Mostly it for now that I can remember.

Also for Hunter's skills, only the healing skills seem to scale on SPI. All their damage skills seem to mainly scale on ATK not SPI. Rhue(Cleric) was doing around 3-4k with the hunter skills on the bird mob outside Demina using full ATK build Vaugh set while less then 1k reseting AP into full Spirit build and oracle set.

As for Hunter skills issue, now I understand what you meant (sorry for bad
english XD ), I'll fix that too but which would be better, change the bow stats
into ATK type or change the skill type and scale it on SPI? please let me
know your opinion.

Hi, thanks for playing. Unfortunately, you can't change their name atm. :( From a super jump point? You can jump higher by learning Acrobat Talent from Master Wedlart in Zorta Temple.

Btw, beside effectiveness, is it the attribute of the skill that say if it scale with attack or spirit? like the Hunter skill Air Slicer. got phys attack 'no', Ranged attribute and air element. Would have assumed it goes with spirit, yet seem to only scale with Attack.

Yes, cleric and archer's ranged attack are using SPI instead of ATK, not only Air Slicer, but all skills including Stun Arrow, Poison Arrow, Critical Shot, etc. Bow's physical attack by pressing is useless against strong enemy. XD

For agi, it most likely does not increase walking speed. I just assumed it might somehow affect it a little bit due to haste/slow status icon being same with agi up/down icon from shop...

As for M Def, it seem to work fine. Reseted AP for Leinara (Sheinmancer) and with 982 Spirit I get hit for about 3 damage from Leechzard's Water Splash. It is just that I need a load more of spirit to see a noticeable effects around 30x? more spirit then the mob's to negate it all... and the mob I was trying it on before had 303 spirit (Frozen Ener). so I guess the 394 Spirit from Rhue (cleric class). would not change that much... and btw I had it down to 14 spirit not 1 for Rhue.

On a side note, should have really stuck with Leinara default class instead of picking alchemist... as so far her skills doesn't seem to scale with spirit at all...

Distribute AP to HP will be wise too, since 2 AP will increase 50~100 HP, that equals 1x spell damage from Leechzard. Yes, Frozen Eners will hit you quite hard with their 300 SPI, there will be not much change if your SPI similar to theirs. Some tips, using your shield to block, or jump over (Arrow + D) projectile attack might help you as well in battling magic-type enemy. Promote Sheinmancer to Lumina Scientist (3rd tier of this class) will boost its basic stats and give you access to special equipments, but still, Alchemist-type classes are mainly for Items Crafting, they're not good in tanking Bosses. :( **On a side note, I also set pretty high Damage Modifier to the enemy's spell ( It's called Effectiveness if you read the skill details by pressing SHIFT in the menu, yes bad name, sorry. XD ) so that, they're still able to hurt your character a little bit even if your SPI surpassed theirs. :)

Hey there, first off really great game you got there. Anyway, I came across a major bug that prevent me from progressing further with the main story of the game

It is at the Ice Cavern where I need to pursue Adcortziever for the main quest Demon Hunt. When I enter that area I get a looping text saying 'It's a Passive teleport point'. Adcortziever walk off north and the main quest update to tell me to keep following him, while am stuck there unable to do anything due to the looping text.

Beside that, some minor bug I found. A few times after leveling up I would be unable to walk at all. I would only be able to jump around and attack. happened twice with Eiriou early on, and once with Key later on. I am not sure what cause it. With Eiriou I was fighting Stun Hornets, can't remember for Key.

Trying to walk in the hideout that is below Celese town with Sieve will also give a looping text, right after giving the password.


Another thing while am at it. Apart from magic attack is Spirit really supposed to increase magic defense? doesn't seem to do anything at all for me whatever I got 1 Spirit or over 300. I take around the same amount of damage from spells. and Agility is supposed to do what? Seems to help with normal attack speed and perhaps walking speed??? , does it do anything else?


Hi, first things first, thanks for playing my game and reporting those bugs. :) I'll check them all ASAP and let you know once I've fixed them (It seems that minor bug where the character can't move was caused by Stun effect). Yes, Spirit is supposed to increase both Magic Atk & Def. What is your character class while testing the damage / comparing 1 SPI and 300? Agility is supposed to increase Critical Evasion and Magic Evasion, it has nothing to do with walking speed. But maybe I made a mistake there since I haven't thoroughly checked the damage formula. My bad. XD I'll evaluate these attributes as well for the next update. Please don't hesitate to give more feedback and bug report if you find any. Thank you so much. :)
