speaking of liquid piss (as opposed to solid piss? haha not sure why you didn't just say piss (oops didn't realise natook just made this very observative point)), i think cider fits that category extraordinarily well. especially pear cider, that stuff just...ruins everything

Sarcasm, for instance, is always acceptable. Sarcasm makes everything better. It's just universally hilarious. And sometimes it even makes people feel like their problems are laugh-worthy instead of cry-worthy.

I disagree, too much sarcasm is frustrating and can come across as patronising. Some topics are just endless amounts of cynicism/wit and it can be really tiring to read. It's like...a big wit-fest. Which sounds cool but i don't think it works too well in practice. It can make you look rude/full of it, especially when the cynicism is applied to game critiques and people hide behind the excuse of, 'i want this game to be the best it can be, therefore i'm allowed to trash-talk it.' Politeness is a great thing.

It's a shame because you're all pretty nice people and none of you are actively wanting to drive others away, but i can see how it could be construed as intimidating. Actually, reading through topics now, it's not as bad as i'm making it out to be but there was a stage when i didn't want to post because of it.

Other than that, this is all probably being blown out of proportion haha (although, reading kyrsty's post maybe it is more of a problem then i wouldve thought? i dunno i don't frequent the forums all that much anymore). For the record everyone loves a bit of wit, but when someone asks a serious question, it's nice for them to get a serious answer.

I get drunk an unhealthy amount. I probably have some alcohol running through my system right now to be honest haha. It's kind of the norm where i live though; not that i mind, getting drunk is hilarious.

Used to do weed a lot but i started getting paranoid and i'm scared of having bad trips, so i'm phasing it out. I'd be laughing loads but on the inside i was having a shite time, everything was so slow and objects around me just looked scary. It was rubbish. Also I had Mkat by accident once but not enough to get a high haha. And i've had laughing gas (is that legal? i feel like it is but idk), that's good for like 50 seconds. Haven't taken anything hardcore and i don't plan to, i think i might be one of those people who easily has a bad trip.

Sometimes i smoke when i drink - social smoking i guess. I'm trying to stop that, it's a nasty habit. I don't get much of a nicotine rush anymore so all it's doing is making me smelly (though i actually like the smell of smoke haha) and killing my lungs. It's also pretty selfish and expensive, and i don't feel particularly cool when i smoke, just kind of stupid, knowing the risks and still doing it.

Has anyone seen the documentary 'Exit Through the Gift Shop'? It's probably one of the best documentaries I've ever seen.

I have, it was really good, great at getting you interested in graffiti even if you weren't before. Also, the character of Banksy being mysterious, charming and witty was great.
The only thing that was a bit annoying was you couldn't really tell what parts were wholly truth and what parts were exaggerated/not true. Actually i watched it believing everything i saw so it wasn't a problem for me until the people i went with started being all sceptical haha

Four Lions is hilarious, and i think Of Gods and Men definitely deserves a mention.
