Homework Salesman Review

Good job, L! I'm glad that I focused on different things on my review than you did.

Homework Salesman Review

I'm glad to have helped introduce you to the game, J-L! Since I'll be writing a review of my own (finally) soon, I won't reading yours yet, but I'm guessing you must have enjoyed it ... :D

EDIT: Hopefully you'll get the review for your game soon ...

Oracle of Tao Review

@Trihan I played the demo of the game a couple of years ago, but it seems to me your early observations are spot-on! I'm not sure when I'll try play it again, but hopefully, all this feedback will eventually produce a better version of the game ...

Fisherman Game Review

Thanks! The game works as advertised. Whether a player finds it fun or not, that's debatable.

Idunn Ymiraldor Review

Good review.
I was mostly turned off by the lack of screenshots and a random crash before starting the game. But the images you provided peak my interest~

Thanks! The download lacked the RPG_RT.exe file, which I copied from another game. I wonder if your error was due to having the wrong version of 2k3 RTP. As you might know, there's several versions of them, not a unique one, unlike for other versions of RPGMaker.

I'm glad I included the images, given that the Start Screen is the only screenie included in the "Images" section. This is the first time I have done so for a review.

Crystal Catch Review

Good, thorough review! Your feedback should help the developer fix things, we should hope. Sometimes, you need to take one for the team ...

Labyrinthine Dreams Review

Another alternative would be to have a limit on the number of moves or keystrokes. I kind of like those for chess puzzles as long as they are just a few (say 3 max..)

Regarding the No Left Turn mazes, at first I didn't get them. Then I realized I had to take into account the direction I was facing and what turning left meant in terms of where I could go. Once I realized that, those puzzles became easily solvable.

Labyrinthine Dreams Review

I wouldn't call it bad design at all! But rather highly challenging for a below-average puzzle player or deviously clever. Especially hard were those two before last demon puzzle. The puzzles analogous to the ice sliding and the cab driving one (my personal favorite!) I found easy to solve going back from the exit to find the intermediate place I needed to be able to get to be able to leave. The invisible tiles random path searching thing have done before elsewhere, but never with the number of dead end paths for the last one of them.

One thing that could have made the game even more frustrating would have been setting very tight time limit to solve each puzzle.

Sagawind Review

Perhaps, it can be cobbled up from existing LP/LT videos, for starters, so that the number of new videos needed would be reduced significantly ...

Also, at the least, the videos for Wilfred, the hero and Starless Umbra would need to be updated to reflect their revamped versions in the current one.

Sagawind Review

Thanks for reading it! It has been the hardest review for me to write, so far ...
