I'm just some random guy who dabbled around in flash for a few years. Then I found out about RPG Maker, and I've been messing around with it. Hopefully I'll have a game up and running soon.

Favorite videogame world.
Dragon Age has a good setting in my opinion, I liked how fleshed out it got in Origins and how you could experience from multiple viewpoints. It let you really a get a feel of how that world worked.
So naturally, the Origins were scrapped and you were stuck one city for the whole of sequel. PROGRESS!

Played the demo, it was nice, nearly had my chars killed by that huge orc boss.
Actually I don't think you can die during that opening, you get constantly healed(not from Bethany I think). I don't really like the demo much, it doesn't really show off the more tactical side of the game enough.

Varric is my favorite character, every time someone gets too moody or caught up in their own tragic back story he immediately snarks at them.

I wish the final fight was harder and scaled with your amount of allies but whatever, it was just really cool to see all those sidequests I ran come back to help me out.
Also the whole elf Na'vi thing, I didn't mind it so much. The elves in the other game weren't very distinguishable.

the final boss was pretty cool with everything going on, but i was never in much danger of dying or anything. idk, the difficulty felt sort of lopsided i guess. maybe my fault for doing every single sidequest though!
Yeah it wasn't hard, I was referencing how epic it was seeing all that tension just boil over into something that actually tied the plot up pretty well.

I did like the final boss though. Although throughout the whole final act Gravitic Ring just slowed everyone to crawl ready to be AoE'd. Playing it on Hard now for a better challenge with my 2her.

the hardest fight in the entire game for me was the first Varterral fight because you're forced to use Merrill
and i never used Merrill
really most of the earlier boss fights were the hardest for me (as well as those crazy rooms where you get like 4 shades, 2 rage demons, a golem, a desire demon, and a revenant)
meanwhile the Act 3 boss fights, like Hybris or the High Dragon, were honestly kind of laughable

holy jesus is it even possible to win a duel with the arishok on a difficulty higher than normal? i ended up having to use my whole party because jesus christ
edit: i can't even imagine trying that on nightmare ugh. it would take a year to do even if you could do it because he has so much health
also it's kind of lame how as soon as i get the whole Stonehammer set i immediately get way better stuff ;__; f u fenris why did you give me this plate with 100 more armor???
Just wait till you unlock the Champion armor, any set you have before that is just thrown out the window. Also for the Arishok, he was a tough son of a bitch by yourself on any difficulty, I wound up just kiting him for 5+ minutes with my mage before giving up.

Actually my 2her is turning out to be a pretty decent, it works out if you build them carefully. Since they hit so many in one attack they can manage crowd control a lot better then Aveline can.
