Thanks for listening to my complaints without getting angry. Maybe you could add and item or character that changes the time when used for simplicity's sake.

No, I'm really happy to hear any feedback! I want everyone to enjoy it as much as possible. I've actually added the function to change time lapse in options menu (you can set to slower mode or standard one), will drop version 1.5.8 in the weekend, just checking is there any bug to fix left.

I personally think it was fine. Day/Night cycles are pretty prevalent in games like this and allows time to be counted, days to be broken up and deadlines to be established. Which, uh, necessary?

Thank you for your opinion, @Liberty. Glad it wasn't stressful for you.

I understand the necessity, lots of resources are probably tied to a certain number of days passing and events are divided by day/night, other games using it doesn't make it a good system but a convenient one.
At least to me cutting a tree and suddenly being night makes this game more stressful that it should be, I could understand that an event with a character passes time but resource gathering should not. I started playing a while ago and dropped it the moment the I was left to roam free, decided to start gathering resources and found that almost everything makes the clock tick.

Then I think the best solution will be if I'll add "time speed" option to change depending on your needs, so you could make the days longer. I'll try to add this in incoming update. Thank you for your feedback @DBAV.

You probably though the day-night system added realism and various chances to set characters at different scenarios but it kills the mood the same as the day counting does, do a few things bam suddenly night, I think that goes against the slow life enjoyment this games represent.
I'm sad to hear that, but day and night system is present in 90% types of life-sim, same with calendar (or day counting as you call that), but my intention is definitely not to rush anyone. I just didn't want the days to get too long.

Hi, I've played this game before but for the life of me I cannot remember how to unlock the bakery.. Maybe I didn't get that far in the game previously but for now I have finished delivering the barrels for the bar..
But I cannot unlock the bakery since I don't have the key and I'm clueless as to how to get the key.
The shop at the bottom with the sign on the door can't be opened as mentioned in the posts above. But the shop just below the bar is still locked. I've tried talking to everyone in the village but everyone is done buying stuff from me. Even grandma gives me no clues.
Am I missing something? Will I get the key on my own just by passing the days while building stuff?
Ok I got the Bakery Key! For reference:
It's in the lonely tree stump in the forest on the right side below the mines. Need to hit the stump with an upgraded axe to get it

Happy that you figured this out! I think I'll try to make some more clues for this....

Medieval Society

So, the game is totally dead I think?

I see. Thank you for your response. I don't know the law and I don't know if it's fair to the creators, but I don't judge. As you say, the project died a long time ago in 2003, the similarity just didn't give me peace, and I remember how excited I was for this project back then. I personally love the SNES aesthetic, so fingers crossed.

I'm sorry, but... is it supposed to be Harvest Moon Projekt reactivation? HUD looks the same, same engine, even same custom graphics... Are you the one from HMP team and this is supposed to be reactivation?

"by Caz" and I already know this will be so good!

Carpentry Story

Yeah, right now it can't be opened. If you done everything, then after few days you should have a game ending scene. Thanks much for playing!

Carpentry Story

Yes, there is an house upgrade. And you should have materials in the warehouse/storage (chest). Can you please upload a screenshot of what you have?
