..it's kind of shitty to just rain on someone else's parade when you haven't contributed yourself.

Rockman: You announced your intent to make something on April 9th. The deadline was almost a FULL MONTH after that. Surely.. you could find the time to do some graphic design?

do not even go here I have literally just yesterday had this conversation with ryan and having exactly the same conversation with someone else. i can't predict the future and pretty hefty serious shit comes up. I am pretty sure I have discussed in on IRC anyway oto? (my memory is faulty today)

I even addressed this ever so slight irony so you're fools to yourselves really :(

besides this: 'uh oh you haven't actually made any graphics this time ?? oh well you can't critique at all' - it doesn't really work like this at all. if the only people critiquing are the artists themselves it is just a bunch of artists jacking each other off / ripping each other to pieces. you need outside critique to take a balanced view.

But it's really easy to be a critic and hate on someone else's stuff when you haven't put yourself out there. You seem bitter for not winning a contest you didn't even ENTER. The damned thing ran for like, a full month... it wasn't like they didn't give folks time to contribute. Again, if you had such a problem with my stuff, why didn't you make some of your own? There was plenty of time to do so.

kind of done this bit already about critique but as for some sort of jealousy this is just you jumping the gun really. am I really jealous of winning.. nothing.. if anything it would be bitterness about not just being asked considering this is actually the community I am a part of but I am not that ridiculous. also time is relative to how busy you are and this is the first thing I covered so I have wrapped it up rather nicely.

I am in college too, and QUITE busy, but I still managed.

well done you. it is not just college. (oh btw we are not on the same wavelength - different education systems and all)
