The first one, I hope. The others...are not ready...

Basically, yeah, now that I think about it. McCain Was always emphasizing his experience over Obama (as that's his supposed "strength"). I can't tell you how many times he said "I traveled here" or "Obama didn't go there" or "Obama doesn't seem to understand." Etc, etc.

It was frustrating that they both skirted the questions so much, but at least Obama explained his reason why for one of them. It was on the budget question where they were asked what they would suspend from their presidential plans to fund the bailout of the financial crisis. Obama said he couldn't say specifically what would be suspended, because he needed to know what funding would be available when the decision must be made. Meanwhile, McCain says "SUSPEND EVERYTHING!" I dunno...

Yeah, I played most of the games I listed there for a short while each (except for the VX ones, which I couldn't run). I just haven't gotten around to posting my feedback on them. Haven't been feeling up to it just yet. But soon! I promise! ;)

I certainly didn't hate it. But it isn't the kind of game I could get into. The issues I had with the dialogue, specifically, was the opening scene with the two guys fishing. I just can't imagine that conversation realistically flowing the way it does. And how the old mayor on multiple instances says "THIS SUCKS" in reference to the main character's beast escaping. I didn't play it for long, so don't read too much into what I said.
Also, Poke'mon never really appealed to me, but I could still see it making a fun game. Good luck with the full release!

Fair enough. I should've figured the mayor was part of that dialogue problem. The reason he's like that is because that's all he ever did in the first game. He's always blowing things out of proportion, and he'd probably be more believable if I hadn't made him that way initially. I'll take another look into that fishing conversation, though...

I can't hold it against you that you don't like 2000's standard graphics/systems or Pokemon in general, so it's okay that the game's not your cup of tea. Thanks for giving it a try, and letting me know what you thought of it. That's all that really counts to me!

halibabica... I played the intro and I don't think I'm gonna review this game after all. How is this your forth game and everything is still RTP? Even the music!
I can't get into the battle system and I can't even tell if this game is supposed to be serious...
I did laugh that one of the beasts names was httpcolonforwardslashforwardslash.
Don't give up though, I'd say start by designing prettier maps and rewriting the dialog.

I'm sorry you didn't enjoy it. I won't blame you for not liking RTP, but it just works best for me. I don't like ripping graphics from other games, and I've heard plenty of complaints about rips being overused or mismatched before. I figured what it really boils down to isn't what graphics you use, but how well you use them. Then again, demondestiny says my mapping isn't that great, so maybe I do need to shape up. Anyway, one of the main reasons I use RTP is that it's right around my skill level for custom spritework. The stuff I make blends in with it pretty well...

The battle system's a matter of preference, as is the music. This is a serious game, but it's also an upbeat kinda one. The thing I'm most surprised to see you didn't like is the dialogue...what exactly did you think was bad about it? I've always felt it was one of my strong points.

Oh, well. Looking forward to what others have to say also.
