The game wasn't half bad, but it wasn't half good either. I suppose you're entitled to your opinion, but it seems we've all lowered our standards if "Wow, this game isn't very bad!" equates to 4.5 and 5 star reviews. What do you do when a genuinely good game comes around and the highest score you can give it puts it on the same level as games which were "surprisingly not bad"?

I think you might be player hating, personally.

I kid, I kid! You are entitled to your opinion. However, no one who's masturbated to the soundtrack for twenty hours, collected truckloads of secret items, then masturbated to Aila for another twenty hours is going to give this game three stars. This is the point of a good game; to be fun. It's a sad day when a gamer cannot admit this to themselves because they thought the graphics weren't of professional quality or the engine has bugs or the game is overrated. As Solitayre says, write your own review if you have something different to say about the game. We're all ears. Just be aware that you won't be changing many Misao lists since the rest of us stay true to our good games.

Reminds me too much of Vaan and Ashe. Ashe was a bitch.

It's not that we hate Leon. Nothing's wrong with his personality. The problem is, quite frankly, he's just as cliche as the "assertive" heroes, and there is a larger demographic who prefer their cliched heroes to have some attitude (myself included in this demographic). In other words, if a hero reminds us of Ichigo, Sasuke, or Squall, expect some boo's. If he reminds us of Goku, Naruto, or Luffy, expect some cheers.

Vivid personality = hero!

Chao+EX Facil. is an over-kill combination. (Unless you plan on reviving Violet every couple of rounds, that is.)

Pulsar+HP Facil+Excession is much more enduring, and in fact I think that is Violet's ultimate setup. Wonder Wings, another sync (possibly her ultimate weapon), Minerva, HP Facil, and Pulsar turns her into the fastest character in the game, and usually she deals 900+ damage the first 8 hits of Shooting Star plus 2k damage at the end, which is 9900+damage, more than with GUARDIAN, doable every three turns without Excession or EX booster.

Chaos+Zero-System goes best on Gray, allowing him to do Buster Cannon the same three turns w/o any buffing, then recovery, burst, load cartridge, rinse and repeat.. You gotta balance out Team Awesome, man!

So I can't update my review because of the Anti-climbing paint. However, my score and opinions remain pretty much the same after beating this game.

Basically, this game is "the shit": a complete and near-perfect experience, which only needs some variety in the form of mini-games and such to establish itself as THE premier RPG Maker game of ALL=TIME. Everyone who has played it loves it, everyone who is playing it is loving it, and everyone who will play it will love it. 'Nuff said.
