It's a matter of letting more people show their creative side and contribute to the project. I'm sure you can understand that.
Oh? I had no idea I was upset but ok, lol. I contributed 18 and counting because I took my time, MY TIME away just to help out and I found it fun so I kept going and going. You think I went out of my way because I have nothing better to do with my life? Lol, come on now... Loaded with school work and other personal issues and you're going to say I'm upset due to a game? No, I'm not upset but yes I would be a bit sad because I did take my time to make my submissions and counting. I went out of my way and gave up my time to help Ratty out. If he thinks my submissions aren't good enough then hey it's his call not mine. I was just saying that's what the rules said, first come first served. Just saying.

Y'know, it might be wise to continue accepting submissions and pick the final roster after the event ends. It'd help you balance out the game better, if nothing else.
That's unfair for the people who actually submitted the entries on time and repeatedly.

I like the second one, but making the transition will probably be a ton of work. Do you think you can do it without killing your own interest in the project?
Well... it will be tons of work cause I will have to remake the monsters and remake around 9 characters and possibly the battle animation... The demo with the side view is almost good to go, I just wanted to add 5 more scenes before I release it and trying to give the game more depth. But that's a good question, I don't think it would take my interest away, the only think derailing me at the moment is my personal life. Kinda depressing feeling at the moment. I hope it can wear off quick. And I would rather do what it takes to make people enjoy my game. If people like yourself want to see the 2nd one, then I'll do it :)

i have a cool idea... Everyone whoo contributed a pokemon should be made
a trainer in the game. Would be cool if we could make our own trainer based on us and the maincharacter gets to fight them.
Mordenglory suggested this as kind of like post-game content, and I agree with it!
No offense to anyone here, I am more than likely going to be a bit more biased towards members who haven't contributed a lot of submissions to the event for my next judging session. I'm thankful for all who contributed to the bulk of this event's submissions, but I want to give the new guys a chance.
