I make games from the heart instead of wasting time with research or experience.
I am an amateur RPG designer and hobbyist with a strong interest in the retro-RPG and NES/SNES era RPG genres. I also happen to be a professional software developer.
I enjoy hockey, video games, reading, writing and playing board games such as Settlers of Catan.
I spend far too much time on RMN, but accomplish nothing of use. I used to be a somebody.

And I agree that the character designs need MORE belts! And more straightjackets, because that's an effective way of dressing for combat.

Kentona, nobody complained that Music and Sound were separated. How do you distinguish the triumph of a game like Backstage, with great sound design, versus an original soundtrack? This is really why I am pushing the issue because they are not the same thing even remotely.

Generally, yes, there will be random encounters during "puzzles", but I use the term puzzles rather loosely. Most of the time they are "Hit switch to remove a block somewhere else". On the rare occasion where there is an actual dedicated puzzle, there is no random encounters.

Questions about french and english compatibility

My aim ("goal" ? ^^) is to know if there is any problem for an english player to play a french game. ;)
2008 misaos
Well, the Misaos are totally user nominated, so its possible to have non-english games in there. We don't specifically restrict non-english games.
The game had to have a significant (or full) release in 2008, however.
Our memberbase IS primarily english, so that's probably why you don't often see non-english games.

Worst sickness thing
"Stomach Flu" isn't really influenza, though. Influenza is a lung infection. Stomach flu is usually the Norwalk virus (and is quite common). Try googling it.
