I've still super passionate for it, just after my last release I really needed a break. My mind is still always having ideas and I'm still planning in my brain nonstop.

They told me I was mad when I said I was going to create a spidertable. Who’s laughing now!!!

Yeah, it really comes and goes for me. Which can be a real drag when you look on a project, realize you've been working on it for multiple years, and realize it'll probably take another year or longer to actually get it done.
That said, I still find taking a break and playing games that are like the ones I fell in love with in the first place can sometimes rekindle the flames for awhile, as can doing short jam games (tho those have a tendency to go awry just as often XD;;)

If you let yourself give up on it then that's not gonna come back. You gotta just do it with or without the motivation or inspiration and keep that bastard alive.
I've felt that my passion for gamedev has settled down a bit. Or, maybe it's just a case of needing to take a break from gamedev for a time? I can't really tell yet.
My passion never went away for creating, I just dont have the free time I did for it like I did when I was a teen 15 years ago. T_T
