is having a cheat system in my game a bad or good thing?
- So what kind of cheat system are possiable for the different makers?
- What kind of switches and variable would you have to use for RM2K/3, or what kind of scripts would other coder have to use
- What would your cheat system do?
As a side note I've made one in Rm2k/3. Just make an extra charater whos name is blank, then add a common event named like cheat effects or something. next make an event on a map that says something like: Imput cheat code, and open a charater naming menu for the new charater. go back to the common event and make a conditional branch for each name and so on. it simple but works
About RMN
I remember RMNv1, i liked the game section cause you could organize it by not only the name of the game, but the rating and the athour, other then that i dont remember much about it, because RMN2 is when i started getting active.
Event Rolling [ System Idea ]
Maybe it could be that the main guy is given and special step watch or something so after "X" Step or time passes the screen pops up, then have the roll and battle, but if you avoid then the next time you have better chances in roll, or better items, and for battle have stronger monsters or something. and if you avoid till the counter caps or something you could earn like an uber item or "x" gold or something.

Well think, theres five different areas: GOTY, Writin, Audiovisual, Game Design & Wisaos, so why not take the top 4 from each area and then having some voting on which ones shouldnt be there and other one that should.

I think there should be Parkour competition or a trivia competition for those who are not so strong.
I was just think about the parkour competition, that would be so cool. I think if the judges or who ever picks the sports made parkour a olympic game i might actualy try to earn a gold medal. No joke here. 8)
