"Insane" doesn't begin to describe it :P

Yep, the sprites are entirely my own work, except for the basic black car sprite, that's by Dave Hill (aka supergodjesus)...for that, I only did the variouis paint jobs and battle animations. My tilesets are mostly based on RTP tilesets, although I'm slowly working on getting rid of as much RTP as possible.

The people in the background move around. You'll encounter the same people when you're down in the city, so you may be seeing them doing different stuff depending on what you've done to them :)

Götterdämmerung RPG

The full version is not finished yet...I'll certainly post here once I'm finally done.

newworldmap.png

Well, I have to admit it is scaled down quite a bit (this screenshot shows almost all of China, for example), plus there are large uninhabited areas due to all that nuclear war stuff going on in the past. But yes, it's a rather large world map with lots of stuff to explore and discover.

Götterdämmerung RPG

Definitely, yes...you won't even need to have the RTP installed.

airbasemap.png

That's not a mapping error, just a screenshot artifact...the overlapping parts of the trees are always-on-top events, and they don't show up on screenshots taken in the editor. But anyway, glad you like what you see so far - I still don't know when the game will finally be finished, but it should be relatively soon.

Götterdämmerung RPG

Have a look in that cave labyrinth in the jungle, the cave has a back exit on the lowest level. There's a guy in Nibiru who told you he saw a wrecked car in the cave that might still have some useful spare parts.

newgui_face.png

I unfortunately had to remove the faceset selector as it seems rather improbable I will be getting the missing faces for faceset 2 anytime soon...everything will now be consistently using faceset 1.

Randomly move around pixels for several hours, realize result sucks even more than before, undo everything and decide it's good enough, clashing issues be damned! (This is actually how I work most of the time, graphics-wise)
