Illustrator with a weird obsession with RPG style games, specifically SNES style RPGS or PlayStation style RPG's. If it wasn't for DND, there wouldn't be any of them!!! A lot of my games and the like, are Final Fantasy inspired, though I do draw experience from playing other games, and just life in general. I go by thedarkdreamer and ZENWARE. Though my main profession is in illustration, I have gotten very high GPA both in high school and art college. I was going for the style and works of higher children's books or comic books, though I haven't made a lot of progress with that because of...

I have also published two books, The Dogs of Narberth, and The Rescue Pups, and a third book is coming out soon. I do write.
I have only "officially" made two games but they weren't great. I have been working on Twisted Fate for a long time though. I don't know why I'm stuck on this. I guess because 'that' was 'really' my ACTUAL first "game". But life.

I have a couple completed games but they are edits. For people who are interested, I have A LOT of things I want to do but the problem I'm running into is TIME and really, deadlines and real world projects, and other things I am working on, for those who are actually interested:

I must be partially crazy!! So many projects. (A lot of repetition as well)...
In terms of...the projects, I still float between old games that other people did, and now looking back on things I previously did. I'm doing a bunch at once, though I feel like I do one for a bit then go to another one, then that same kinda thing happens. Though now, I'm trying to do FINAL FATE (which is an old one), The Adventures of Dyluck (aka me hahah), and an obscure one based off a game I was doing called IN DREAMS I "CRESCENDO", based off "THE DARK DREAMERS". I basically set myself up for one, then I get tired or distracted and head onto another one. I hate this really.

Awesome, 16 bit goodness.
Those Satyr sprites are actually decent. This feels really good. I kinda wish there was an HP symbol next to the numbers rather than a time icon, because most people would just assume, ok, there's a time bar, I get it. I always found that kinda awkward with people's games. Maybe a Runic symbol would be better for the technique icon? Just ideas, helping out.

I think you need a better artist for those face sets, no offense. They don't feel quite FF6 like and a bit awkward, though everything else is slick. The face sets feel too much like a fifth grader made it...

If you need help I can make this a heck of a lot better. It's a bit too rushed, it's not the background itself but the text could use a bit of a push, kinda a not great font, I feel like something maybe with serifs could improve it. That bottom text isn't really lined up well - breathing space (the knowledge of art school fills me with this sort of wisdom). That and I can get your name or a logo in the 'splash screen' with a quick editor - just to make it yours.
