N4M: Seeking Miyamoto Musashi to Dishonourably Murder Me

I really remember enjoying Morrowind when I stole it back in high school (since I couldn't run Oblivion, y'see), just for the fact that it was so easy to find hidden things while wandering around without any goal in mind. a lot of it is probably just that it was my first game of its kind, but exploring felt really tense and spooky and I enjoyed it a lot. no clue if it'd hold up if I came back to it these days, though! probably not.

I might play it again when the people doing the Skyrim conversion finish up, though. that's kind of a weird idea, but I really like the thought and I wanna see where it goes.

when people are all 'I have a female friend who's fine with this nonsense, and her experiences directly invalidate your own', I always feel super bad for that friend. like, having someone keep you around because you're ~not offended~ and use you as an excuse to be nasty to other people is a terrible situation, especially because the moment you start setting boundaries they'll turn their asshole behaviour on you as well.

also, like, please don't make this out as a good-natured rivalry or whatever

I've had friendships where we fought at every opportunity and still liked each other! they're a lot of fun! this isn't that, though, and it creeps me out when people drop my name like we're each other's foils when really I only think of them as some unpleasant nobody.
