Super Mario RPG: The Seven Sages

There are videos by various people playing and beating all of the bosses you've mentioned, so taking a look would be a good way to start. Also, using skills that buff your party's stats are essential. Granted, depending on the version of the game your playing (which is probabloy 1.6.1) some boosts don't work as well as in the older game and some work better. You may want to beat the 100th level sewer boss first, because what you get from him can be very helpful.

Yup. And get the green Mushrooms to increase your time left. The poison mushrooms take away time.

Out of curiosity, have you played this game or SMRPG: Starlite Worlds? If you enjoy Mario RPG's, I highly recommend our two games.

It only appears that way because of the small picture size. But if you play the game and install the font, it's fine.

The time for battles can also be added in. If the average battle is about 30 seconds long maybe, and he fought 388, then he roughly had 3.2 hours added on in battles. Something to think about I guess.

Me and my little brother cdivision, yea. Although to be honest, I worked on it alone for 3 years and was only able to produce a 30 minute demo. I let him take over and a year later a 10 hour game was released...

Thanks, I don't know the average length of an RPG Maker game but I had a feeling that Seven Sages was one of the longer ones. Our next game, Starlite Worlds, should be about 20 hours if we include everything that we wan't and if we keep up our pacing.

Thanks. Your post made me realize that despite the fact that the game is finished, and had been for about a year before being put on this site, we've only uploaded screens from the 30 minute demo...

Super Mario RPG: The Seven Sages

Glad you were able to figure it out.

Starlite Worlds Surpases Paper Mario TTYD in Badge Count!

Danger Mario is the opposite of balance...
There is a Danger Badge that makes you start battle with 33% of your HP (which is danger in our game) and of course all the badges like Last Stand and Pretty Lucky are in the game. HOWEVER, there won't be anyway to abuse the Badge Point system by raising the Max (you have to find BP like in Seven Sages), and you also have to manage badges for 2 other members of your party, so I don't think Danger Mario will be as feasible.

But, we'll get there when we get there. Something like DM may arise simply through lack of foresight on our part, but we plan on releasing content and balance patches throughout it's life.

Super Mario RPG: The Starlite Worlds

1. For the overall balance of the game, you might have to level up a little at the beginning but it fixes itself.
2. We will consider getting rid of the fade in/outs or make them faster.
3. As far as I'm concerned, we're doing you guys a favor by using less mp3's. Swap any music you like with other versions if it's really that bad.
