Why am I always so conflicted about my life?

Yeah, that really does sound frustrating. I hope you'll get time to do everything you want to do!

Why am I always so conflicted about my life?

You ever fight one of those terrible bosses that's doing so much damage that it feels like you're supposed to lose, but you're also chipping away at their health just enough that maybe you're actually not supposed to lose? Life's like that.

THIS OMG. THIS HAS BEEN MY LIFE for like the last year or so XD

Hey I got Mirak composing a couple of songs for my game this is awesome!

Mirak's pretty great :DDD

Does anyone still like games with just the standard RTP?

author=Sidewinder
In my experience, yeah. If you're using it well, it should get some attention. RTP is pretty nostalgic for a lot of folks.

Though obviously it depends on the game. I wouldn't really recommend making a horror game with stock VX Ace assets (unless you were trying to do something ironic, like Don't Hug Me, I'm Scared, or The Terrible Secret of Animal Crossing).

Ooooh, a haunted RTP project game that is actively messing with its maker would be such a cool idea XDXD

Hey all! I have 2 podcasts coming up and I need questions! Read this status for more info.

What do you think about the RTP debate? Can a game be fun if it only uses resources that came with the engine? What can an RTP game do to stand out apart of all the rest?

Do you have any RPG Maker pet peeves? As in, mistakes you see in RPG Maker games that new devs should avoid?

What do you do for music in your project? Do you compose your own music? If not, where do you go for tunes for your game?

If you had infinite budget and could collaborate with anyone on RMN, what sort of game would you make?

Does anyone still like games with just the standard RTP?

If they grab me quickly with either good character writing, good plot, or good gameplay, yes.

Deleting every let's play I ever made, not how I imagined coming back to RMN....

I think (and hope!) you're overreacting, but given how weird YouTube is and how bonkers their rules can be, erring on side of caution is probably smart.

If this blows over and they either change the rules or this turns out not to be such a big deal, at least you could reupload your old videos if you still have them on your hard drive.
