Makerscore is a quantitative representation of your contributions to the site. Certain contributions net you a certain amount of makerscore, for example, a tutorial will get you 30, while a completed 5-star game will get you 750! You can find your total makerscore under your name in both your user profile and under your avatar in posts on the site. You can see a summary of makerscore earned by clicking on Submissions in the toolbar above.
As you garner more makerscore, the space in your personal locker grows (at roughly the rate of 40kb per point of makerscore).
Makerscore is recalculated in an overnight batch job (so when you don't see immediate changes in your makerscore, go to bed! Everything will be better in the morning).

Well they haven't been worth anything for as long as I've been here and I'm practically furniture already.

practically?
Does "Game Media" mean submitting in the the media section or providing it for a game?
Providing it for a game, even your own. All submitted media also gets showcased in the Media section.
So once said game goes up the makerscore goes into effect, correct? so far I've been sending the media directly to the game's creator.
To get makerscore for Media, you have to be the one to go to the gameprofile, click Submit Media and add the media.
OK then. I'll begin submitting media as the soundtrack begins to come together.
Is that 15 points for YOU downloading a game, or is it 15 per user that downloads one of your games that you've uploaded?
That 15 points is when you add a download to your gamepage. It has nothing to do with the act of downloading a file.
Scores for utility/plugin is not included in the chart.
While not a big deal, I also wonder why utility/plugin gives 15 points. Wouldn't it make more sense for it to make roughly as much as a script?

author=KazesuiYes and yes. I will make the fix/change.

So a game tester worth nothing?
