Description

The war ends. The corpses of dead and dying litter the battlefield of what was once a lush, imaginative landscape. Medics roam the fields, tending to those injured and near to death.

You are one of these medics. Scattered around you are the bodies of those games that vied for your attention in this battle. Who you save is in your hands.

Yup, it's that time of year again! Combining Release Something and the annual Halloween event, we task you with tending to those games you left unfinished and broken on the battlefield of creativity.

The twist this time? Just finish your fucking games! New or old, as long as it's unfinished it's viable for this event. Get to it, save those lives!

Rules
- Start on October 1st
- Finish by October 30th
- Game can be abandoned or something you are currently working on. As long as it begins the event unfinished and ends up being completed or released by the end of it, it'll count!
- There needs to be a decent chunk of work done on it over the course of the month.
- Any engine, any resources, etc
- Must have a game page made and accepted to the site BEFORE the end date.

To Submit:
- You need a gamepage that has been accepted to the site (either newly made or an older one from the initial creation of the game)
- Sign up to this page as a participant.
- Click the Submit button at the top-right of the page.
- Upload the game to your gamepage.
- Choose the proper download for the game from the drop-down list and hit Submit.

- A badge for those who release a completed game - 60 MS
- A badge for those who release a demo - 30 MS

Welp, I lost everything. Got a new PC and lost all data from the last 6 months. Now I have to restart everything from scratch. Yay... Well, at least now I can do everything better than before. Development hell sure be wack. At this rate it will take me another 2 years to finish Chronicles Meteorfall, no way I'm getting done with my ENTIRE game from basicly nothing in 11 days, less than 2 weeks. I can do that with a smaller project like The Lost Page, but not something as big as MC. Welp, guess I'm going to fail this project then. At least I made some sprites?

Getting a little bit closer to completing the main story-line of my project! Which would be a huge step in the right direction, no doubt, but, would not make said project "complete".

Number 2 was also my first choice but I wasn't too sure.
It's not for a scene, it should be the name of the game.

If it was a sentence, I might consider "The pain in which you engraved upon my heart that day." Especially for a character that likes to embellish their phrases. As a game-title, that might garner a few nominations for "Best Game Title", as "Our Market Research Shows..." would agree with, and/or indicate. However, as an overall favorite, I'd kinda go with #5.

Maybe compromise with #4? It's basically the same as 5 but not as lengthy

With all the new game releases coming out, I doubt I have a lot of time for gamemak going forward/ Xenoblade 3 DLC, Persona 3, 4, and 5 ports, FE Engage, FFVII Crisis Core ReUnion, NieR Automata port, Kirby's Return to Dreamland Deluxe, Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, Sonic Frontiers, Zelda Tears of the Kingdom, etc. There's just so much + job and school it's overwhelming.

There are a few obvious ones in there like a slime, zombie/revenant, and a bat/stirge, but there are a couple more unique ones like Bacteria which was inspired both by a dream I had and the backrooms creepypasta. Very proud of them.
