Finally recovered from the shock of seeing an adamantoise so hungry and so close (or maybe it was bad internet...hard to tell in the end), Augura finally came back to his senses.

'Haha, that was something!' Augura smiled at Cadeon's handiwork...a little ashamed he hadn't charged in himself.

Action: follow into room 4.

Edit: Oh wait, have I been replaced? Well, might be for the better, my internet will be extremely poor until at least August.

KYLE
ACTION: Peek into the North exit.
RESULT: you see a thief or rogue! He seems to be paralyzed currently. Sorta like this: 

As you peek into the room you see there are four monsters coming out of the east entrance!

ACTION: collect any items and equipment Augura might have left behind. And follow Kyle to Room 4.
RESULT: You find a small lock of Augura's sweet hair.

Then you notice and open the treasure chest in the corner of the room. Inside you find...
+1 Mythril Bow (Shoots arrows!)
Then you trot to Kyle's side where you witness what he did (scroll up).


BELIETTE
ACTION: Pray for Augura soul and scold Cadeon (the last with no influences of his actions, just flavor), then follow Kyle.
RESULT: you find yourself feeling haunted.
+1 Augura soul!
Augura will now haunt you!
OOC: I can't wait to see what'll come of Augura's ghost. Anyway, I'll wait for Cadeon's action before I make my move, so the bow can be properly delivered. Kyle's going to wait for the others to arrive anyway, so it's not like I'mm putting in simply waiting as my action.

Anyway, what was the skill that Kyle gained on level up?

EDIT: Arm Shot. Disables attacks for 2 turns on target. 1 turn cooldown. Might come in handy in this fight.

A few things:
On reading through, I found that you're all now Level 4. Including Augura's soul, or whatever.

Kyle learns Mini! Turn any number of team-mates into tiny imps and back again!
Beliette learns Slow Dance! Causes "slow" status to all nearby enemies, while Beliette is dancing.
Cadeon learns Protect! Lasts 2 Turns, protects the party against any physical attacks.
Augura learns (somehow) Accumulate! Spend a turn raising attack power by 1 for next physical attack.
Newcomer Remmiel learns Steal! Steal items from enemies.

(I just threw you guys on top of the old one.)
"Ugh..." mumbles the new person, recovering from stun. "Looks like this battle will be quite a hassle by myself!" He charges at the Naga angrily.

ACTION: Try to finish off the Naga by slashing it at that same spot in the neck.
Cadeon comes into the far room to find it it filled with monsters! He had never seen those floating eyes before, but he immediately recognized the naga! Instinctively, he tosses his newfound bow on the ground nearby and casts 'Shell' - the paralyzing tongue of the naga is fearful afterall!

ACTION: toss bow down and use hands to cast SHELL - shielding the party from physical attacks.
Kyle took a peek inside, and quickly hid behind a wall, processing what he just saw. Two floating eyes, seemingly surveying the area. A naga, something he knew was trouble, capable or causing full paralysis on its prey. A stone golem, slow, but nrearly impervious to any attack he'd be capable of. In the middle, a young man stood immobile, certainly haven fallen victim to the naga.

While he was coming up with a plan, Cadeon arrived with a bow. Upon looking inside the room, he dropped the bow he was carrying and his left hand lit up with a white aura. Kyle's vision blurred for a few seconds as the spell took effect. A shielding spell, good start to any fight.

Kyle picked up the bow on the floor. Good quality wood reinforced with mythril near the grip. Not what one would expect to find in an old ruin. He pulled the string to get a feel for the draw weight. Not too different from is old bow. He then looked at Cadeon and raised his hand, signaling him to not move. He then spoke with a low voice, almost a whisper, so the monsters wouldn't hear.

"We're in a chokehold, let's keep it that way. Get your glaive ready. I'll try to draw them here, then we'll chop them up one by one. Our weapons won't do much to the golem, so when it gets here take that wand you have and blast it to bits."

He then took another peek to choose his first target, but this time he saw the young man from before, free of his magical hold, charging at the naga.

"Crap..."

ACTION: Kyle snipes the naga, then gets back behind cover.
OCC: Don't wanna give you more work dudes but have you ever though of keeping the hp and mp information on a google sheet doc? Also can I cast augura or something like if I can manipulate him XD

I follow what the blood running on my veins tell me to do

Action: Choke the Naga, if dead attack the golem with a jump and kick.

REMMIEL
ACTION: Try to finish off the Naga by slashing it at that same spot in the neck.
RESULT: You manage to chop off the Naga's Head!
+1 Naga Tongue (Causes "Paralysis" status. 1 use.)


KYLE
ACTION: Kyle snipes the naga, then gets back behind cover.
RESULT: Now that you're a Ranger again, the Naga's corpse takes the arrow cleanly. The mythril bow really helps your aim. All that sturdy mithril or something? Good target practice at least!
The Naga dies!


CADEON
ACTION: toss bow down and use hands to cast SHELL - shielding the party from physical attacks.
RESULT: All MAGICAL attacks will be shielded by using SHELL for 2 Turns!


BELIETTE
ACTION: Choke the Naga, if dead attack the golem with a jump and kick.
RESULT: You jump and kick the golem but he just punches you clear across the room.


AUGURA'S GHOST
ACTION: lurks around Beliette!
RESULT: it's super creepy, but at least no one can see him!

OOC: MrChearlie, I took HP/MP out of the equation for this game. Everything is a puzzle, including these monsters. However, if you find a way to complete the puzzle that is now how I designed it, all the power to you.
Also, I'm not sure if you can control the ghost. Either way, it's one of those specters that passes through stuff and moans about being dead.
"Whoa, it's you guys!" exclaims a surprised Remmiel. "Never mind that, though. Seems you showed up just in time. Someone's gotta take care of those security eyes. My daggers aren't strong enough to take 'em. Believe me, I tried!"

"You guys?" exclaims an equally surprised Kyle. "I don't think we ever met before."

"Anyway, we think alike. Gotta take care of the surveilance first."

ACTION: Kyle insults the closest security eye's mother, then shoots it right in the middle of the eye when it turns to him.
"Welp," said Cadeon, as he realized that he cast the wrong spell. Fortuitously, it appears that the recently summoned monsters are magic-fire based. Heeding Kyle's advice, Cadeon whips out his wand.

ACTION: attempt to use bomb wand on the Golem
"We haven't..." said Remmiel to Kyle, "but...well, if we get outta this alive, maybe I'll show you. But you probably won't like it." Remmiel eyes the security eye, and remembers the Stone Golem's powerful counter attack against Beliette.

"Actually...welp, this power has worked nothing but wonders for me so far."

ACTION: Use Aero to blow a security eye right in the path of the Stone Golem.
That hurts, so after that I am even more agree with Remmiel.
Action: Grab as many security eyes I can with my bolas and throw them to the golem.
OOC: With their almost perfectly spherical shape, I doubt the bolas can wrap around one of them, let alone a bunch.
OOC: Sorry, I have a complex of thinking I can do anything with the bolas, I overestimate its limits... well... I guess it is hard for I really want to keep the same results so I'm gonna try this

ACTION: Kyle insults the closest security eye's mother, then shoots it right in the middle of the eye when it turns to him.
RESULT: You hit it perfectly in the 'bulls eye' so to speak, and the eye cannot see! The Alert dies from Security Eye 'A'.


REMMIEL
ACTION: Use Aero to blow a security eye right in the path of the Stone Golem.
RESULT: Security Eye B goes flying towards Stone Golem, and in typical defense, the Golem punches the Eye across the room, causing it to enter the room to the West!
You all, aside Remmiel, see that the room has three exits! SOUTH, WEST AND EAST


BELIETTE
ACTION: Bicycle kick the eye to the golem
RESULT: The Security Eye A is now next to the Golem!


AUGURA'S GHOST
ACTION: lurks around Beliette!

RESULT: Stone Golem punches Security Eye B out the door into the West room!


CADEON
ACTION: attempt to use bomb wand on the Golem
RESULT: The Golem explodes!
Golem dies! +1 EXP!

(Next 1 Turn Shell is active!)
"Yeah, like I thought. Go for the eyes."

And just as Kyle finishes saying that, he sees the golem explode into a pile of rubble. He flashes Cadeon a thumbs up. But just as he's getting ready to take his next shot, he is blown across the room, back to where he came from. He rolls as he hits the floor to get up on his feet and looks around to see if nobody is hurt. Seeing that none of his comrades is in need of assistance, he dives towards the wall next to the exit.

"At least we're all in one place, and back to the chokehold."

ACTION: Kyle shoots the chimera, aiming for the lion's neck, then gets back behind cover.
"Geez, you guys fight like you're used to these monsters..." Remmiel dashes back north, charging up an Aero spell on the way...

ACTION: Use Aero to jump on the chimera's back.
