CPR is town aligned. I got the PM to prove it, though you'll excuse me if I don't quote it here. Sure, I have the ability to kill someone who isn't attacked, but seeing as I can choose whether to use said ability or not, and it depends on another factor all together, it's definitely not as powerful or useful as a real Vigilante.

Also, Insane is also a Vigilante type, by your reckoning. As would Odd or Even or Naive be, as they are at times ineffective. Damn, this game is loaded against town win or what?

well, I remember roles of another games were someone was imprisoned (chana was once imprisoned If I remember) and, reading the world JAIL that comed tomy mind, also I know the problem is finding mafia, but knowing TBG was paranoid (I was wrong since that isn't the role) it was one person more that is confirmed to innocent, if he followed ivory's rules. So that way is one less that could be mafia. So that isn't a dishonest neither an honest mistake, it is just an error in my point of view of missreading.

Somebody asked me and I realized I had messed up with my description of the paranoid doctor. Here's what it does:

Paranoid: JAILS target in their office, making it so that the target is immune to any other night actions for that night. In addition, the paranoid doctor's target cannot target anyone for any action for that night.

I forgot the last sentence.

Yeah, I'm 90% sure. Because of my PM, which according to the rules, I'm not allowed to divulge. But it implies something along the lines of me locking myself in the office. And only the paranoid doctor has anything to do with the office, so it seems I'm safe. Unless someone else can confirm that that's what a normal doctor does.

As for your second point, Jeroen, I think it would be more beneficial to deduct mafia based on their self-claims, since the flavour-text seems to indicate that each person is given a clue of who they are via private message. If anyone else knows who they are, it would be safe to out yourself now. Unless, of course, you are sane doc. We need more of those ;)

Also, we can't protect ourselves again, which is a shame. CAVE_DOG's rules state that you can't protect the same person two days in a row, so we're going to have to figure out some sort of strategy based on the results. I'll start compiling some solutions now.

Yeah, if you read the rest of my post you'll see I figure I'm the CPR doctor, since no-one else died, mafia has one shot per night and as I was attacked, it's very much unlikely that anyone else was. That means that I must have been CPR, otherwise I'd have killed myself or someone else would have died.

Yeah I had to sit down for a minute there are properly think about it, and you’re right, you’re CPR 100%.

Sorry, I’m going to have to shoot down your theory here, as my flavour text was all about the character that I chose to be via PM before the game started, nothing to do with a role I could be. I honestly don’t think CAVE would even hint slightly at your true role, as finding out is half the fun!
